if your using localized builds that may be why. Barely any localizied builds were done for rc2. was no need for them.

That'll most likely be it then. I'm using en-gb, funnily enough I usually use en-us. Oh well.

because I know..take too long to go into great detail but rc2 and branded as 1.5 to cut of conflicts that sometimes occur when the last build is spun out and includes a patch fo change branding to the final version...dont want to introduce a bug in that so thats why its done a build earlier. plus that is a branch nightly from the day after the respin for final builds.

Well, that's not the RC2 build, but it's not tagged final yet, so it's not final either. It's just a nightly build. It's what I'm running right now as well. Works well though.

I hate to rain on this parade, but today is certainly not the projected final release date. I'm not sure where supernova_00 is basing his information on, but we are currently planning on shipping an RC3 later this week, and we have not set a final ship date at this time. There are a number of fixes that have landed post-RC2 and need more extensive testing before we certify and ship final.

When we are ready to ship 1.5 final it will be communicated clearly to all parties in advance of the actual release date.
