This variation of Royale + Vista remix is better than straightforward Vista themes. And dobee has never disappointed us with his amazing skinning skills. Thankz buddy. I use Kudesnick's Vista Icons IP for system and Windows Vista Clarity Gold PNG Pack by both Kudesnick and Wizard for desklet and dock icons.

I love this, one complaint is the arrow for the "hide inactive icons" is not viewable till moused over. Other than that it is beautiful and I am very picky. Great Job.

If you dislike the tray notification arrow being hidden,

I've made it possible to unhide it without needing to edit any bitmap, or use stylebiulder in this release...

and its quick and easy

All you need is resbuild or resedit(I've only tested it with resbuild but resedit should work aswell)

Open the msstyle file with resbuild,

Collapse the "TEXTFILE" folder you'll notice alot of normal/large/extralarge ini files,

you dont have to edit all only the one you using (If your not sure which one your using then simply edit each one)

Click on a file you wish to open then edit it using the edit button (this will make the file editable in notepad)

do a search using the find function for "TrayChevronHorizontal.bmp"

rename it "TrayChevronHorizontal2.bmp"by adding a 2, close it a and say yes to save when prompted

do this to each file you want to edit

then save the msstyle, apply it by clicking in on it

voil?!

I love this feature actually, and was wondering if it was possible to auto hide the quick launch arrow the same way.

You'll have to edit or replace the bmp for that...

its just as easy

Open the msstyle file with resbuild,

Collapse the "bitmap" folder

edit the "TASKBARCHEVRON_BMP" files in paint by filling the first or topmost chevron with the transparent pink(you could also use the replace function if you have an edited bmp that you wish to use)

do this to each style you want to edit

then save the msstyle, apply it by clicking in on it

I love this theme but there are some annoying display bugs like ian mentioned that need to be fixed.

I think it's a feature and not a bug (like the hidden arrow for the "hide inactive icons"). I simply don't like that "feature" because it can mislead users.

@dobee: Is there a way to "fix" this (using ResEdit)? ;)

In Filezilla, the vertical arrow is hidden which might mislead users since the option isn't visible...

... unless the mouse is over :\

you can edit or replace the bmp for that too...

Open the msstyle file with resbuild,

Collapse the "bitmap" folder

edit the "TOOLBARBUTTONSSPLITDROPDOWNGLYPH_BMP" files in paint by copying and duplicating one of the arrows and placing it on top of the 2 arrows below it

(you could also use the replace function if you have an edited bmp that you wish to use)

do this to each style you want to edit

then save the msstyle, apply it by clicking in on it

here is one more:

In some applications/windows text is not displayed correctly

Like here for example:

Looking forward for some updates, awesome work mate!

Yes I'll fix that in the next update... think it only occurs with the radiobutton

Thanks! (Y)

dobee

Thanks for the beautiful theme. I'm using it for about a month now ;)

BTW.

On the previous screenshot with this theme (ver. 1.0) you had a RSS-reader plugin ( for samurize i think) with glass borders. Maybe you know where i can find it?

http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/25157172/

It also occurs with checkmarks

Thanks... Yes I noticed that aswell was just about to post it

 I think if the color of the selected program bar on toolbar can be more bright, now the highlight is dark fade blue, not easy to read with black backgrount.....

I know... its not very user friendly but it's the only design I prefer'd

its not very noticeable on a light desktop but with a dark wallpaper it looks good and more noticeable

I'll try to fix it in future... if i can

    • I'm not aware of this issue, but to help the other guys.  What version of Android are you using? Did you try a different browser? To see if Edge is the issue here.
    • I agree when are you going to read this (really poor BTW) article? Here is a better article so you actually know what is going on and answers questions you had in other comments --> https://arstechnica.com/gadgets/2026/05/speed-boosting-low-latency-profile-is-one-of-the-improvements-coming-to-windows-11/ It is unclear if one will be able to disable the new profile at this point but I am not seeing any reason why one would.
    • I disagree; they come off very "bitchy" and "whiny". Make a great product and combine that with a great price (free) and people will come over to your side. Or build it and they will come as they say. Constantly trying to get attention by complaining all the time, will turn people off to your product.
    • It use to be a nightmare, with LibreOffice supporting a newer draft ODF standard by default, and Microsoft Office supporting the older non-draft standard. Now that they both support the same version of ODF, they should be interoperable.
    • Brave Browser 1.91.171 by Razvan Serea Brave Browser is a lightning-fast, secure web browser that stands out from the competition with its focus on privacy, security, and speed. With features like HTTPS Everywhere and built-in tracker blocking, Brave keeps your online activities safe from prying eyes. Brave is one of the safest browsers on the market today. It blocks third-party data storage. It protects from browser fingerprinting. And it does all this by default. Speed - Brave is built on Chromium, the same technology that powers Google Chrome, and is optimized for speed, providing a fast and responsive browsing experience. Brave Browser also features Brave Rewards, a system that rewards users with Basic Attention Tokens (BAT) for viewing opt-in ads. This innovative system provides an alternative revenue model for content creators and a way to support the Brave community. SlimBrave Neo takes all the good things about Brave and makes them even better by keeping everything clean, light, and privacy-focused. It removes the extra clutter, turns off features you might not need, and cuts down on anything that could slow you down or collect unnecessary data. Because it relies on simple settings and policies instead of modifying the browser itself, you still get full Brave compatibility—just in a smoother, lighter, and more privacy-friendly package. Brave Browser 1.91.171 changelog: General Fixed Cardano not being disabled on upgrade to Brave Origin. Upgraded Chromium to 149.0.7827.103.
