I agree, 800x600 wallpapers when windows default resolution is 1024x768, and even more most people I know use 1280x1024 or larger!

it seems to be the usual microsoft format . if u remember the latest bliss (the grass

one ) only had the 800x600 bmp format too .

btw here is the original 800x600 bmp (1.3 mb )

I'm just wondering if it's the original file. A member here on Neowin made and posted his own "cleaned up" version of that wallpaper from a leaked screenshot, I believe it had the same size.

i knew that "cleaned" version , and i posted it here first . but i changed to the "original" posted on jcxp today

i dont know the criteria ms has for choosing their walls , but if u consider that the new bliss is in a 800x600 bmp format , i say everything is possible ...
