ViewKeyXP still works for me, so I don't think it looks at this file.

I have an OEM copy on my laptop, and i do not have the Product key, in my $winnt$.inf file

I will try my system at home, that is a retail version of XP Pro.

I think it might be to do with OEM copies not having the key in that file...??

I'm using Xp Pro (not corp or oem) and it doesn't have my product key in that file, strange.

/edit in windows .net i have this entry in the file

[userdata]

productid=

productkey=

its just left blank, strange indeed

/edit that entry also appears near the top in windows XP Pro as well, strange

This is mine:

    • Just merge it with Instagram already... Meta having two platforms with overlap was a bad business decision.
    • Aw look at all the typical Elon crybabies already filing in here to whine... You people are too busy promoting hatred and violence to realize that this better technology is going to be great for lowing ride costs across the industry. Perhaps the article should focus on why Waymo didn't innovate enough and is about to be in a world of pain. The cars are expensive to build and therefore the rides are expensive. The technology also isn't as good as it should be and is too conservative. Do they still avoid highway routes in some cities? Robotaxi is going to come along with it's cheap vehicles and low fares and Uber, Lyft, and Waymo are going to be screwed. https://futurism.com/the-byte/waymo-expensive-slower-taxis
    • Hello, thanks for the feedback   This was changed because Google now requires high quality images in these articles, otherwise they might not be promoted in Google Search/News/Discover and other places  (specific link to the policy https://developers.google.com/search/docs/appearance/google-discover#:~:text=appearing in Discover) so we were kind of forced into it. Google keeps moving the goalposts and it affects us greatly as a site online for almost 25 years; one change in their Search algorithm can result in half of our traffic vanishing overnight (and this has happened in the past). I will reach out to Razvan so that he is aware of your request to feature software icons more prominently.
    • I'm tired of asking for this in the Windows 11 Insider feedback. It seems to me that Microsoft solemnly ignores insiders and their feedback or suggestions made to the system.
