February's was based in AutoPatcher 6.0.0.9, and the new will be based in the 6.0.0.10. It introduces a big change in the OS string. I preffer to release it later (when i have a little time), since i've started to change them. And since there aren't any critical updates... :)

March is a great release due to the tweaks section, but I noticed a thing with this Beta AutoPatcher 6:

the list of objects is not scrollable with the mouse wheel, can it be done?

another nice feature is to add an option to hide installed things...

No, that's not available...

seems no, when installed i checked:

"enable add/remove my computer context menu"

"add control panel on mycomp context"

"ass services to context menu"

"disable web service for unknown extensions"

i don't remember the other things i choose.

but nothing is working :(

I checked again on the patcher, when putting the tweaks manually (by manually regediting the apf files into registry) the tweaks work, it seems that the autopatcher is not doing it correctly to add apf contents to the registry in some places (Reason is that in the HKLM\Software\AutoPatcher key there is only 1 entry relaive to MSN Messenger install, how did it manage to get there?)

Also found a bug:

when I launch Autopatcher, if after I click agree (where it start scanning for modules) I change window (change focus to some other window), AutoPatcher will stop with error "Run-Time Error '0'", and then closes.

^ I think i've found the problem of the Tweaks. It should be fixed in this month's version.

I hope raptor fixes that bug...

Hmmm I'm running it now, for the second time. I installed x64, ran MS Update, then ran AP. It didn't appear to recognize all the official patches I installed, but I didn't select them since I know they are installed. But I did select a number of other items, themes, shockwave, icons on the desktop, etc, and after I ran it, selected finish, and it didn't tell me to restart. Knowing that is the normal procedure, I did it any way, but nothing appears to have installed.

So, running it as I type this, again, and selected the 'all' option this time. And the log appears to not be updating as to what it is installing, although the time to finish is changing. Each and every time I peek, it says "Current item: Disable SSDP and UPNP services" for the last 10, 15, minutes. And neither the current item or the total progress bars are changing, just the time to finish.

^ I think that problem is solved in April release. I had made a mistake in the Tweaks folder...

Please test this new version and see if it works now.

Why aren't the "4 legs", "Brazil Beaches", "Historical Monuments" and "Nature 2" themes included in 32-bit version of AP XP? :blink:

I have a funny feeling that I just made a fool of myself... :D
