My question concerns a new firewall, I was using jetico on my 32bit os, but now 64 edition dosent load the driver properly so i uninstalled it. im only using windows firewall right now. can any one suggest a GOOD firewall to use with windows 64 edition, I have an AMD64 . thanx

OH if you can get me a torrent link Ill seed it out.

I'm using Tiny Firewall 64. It's a native 64-bit version of Tiny Firewall 2005. The firewall works fine for me but I have disabled the 'Windows Security Module'. If you don't disable this feature, the program will ask a confirmation for every program you run on your system.

?User Profile Cleanup Service? uses a 32-bit system driver so it cannot be install under Windows XP x64.

There isn?t such thing like ?Sun Java 1.5.0_06 64-bits?. Internet Explorer (64-bit) cannot load java applets.

@ SwitchBlade: raptor is trying to solve that problem. Maybe in June's version the problem will be solved.

There isn’t such thing like ‘Sun Java 1.5.0_06 64-bits’. Internet Explorer (64-bit) cannot load java applets.

Ok, i'll remove it.

Yes, there is a Sun Java 1.5.0_06 for Windows x64, and is included in this AutoPatcher version (and also the 32-bit version is included).

Howdy all .. :)

"Run-time error '339':

Component 'FM20.DLL' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid"

I installed Autopatcher x64 April 2006 without any problem and left it for the next months, which is June 2006. As soon as I invoke the Autopatcher x64 beta I get this error - any ideas why?

There are two(2) copies on my computer:

(1) c:\program files(x86)\AutoPatcher\bin

that is 1,120KB 2003-08-03 14:56, and the other at

(2) c:\ MSOCache\All Users\{10120000-0011-0000-0000-000000FF1CE}-8152113\ProWW.cab

that is 1,091KB 2005-10-29 02:40

Any help will be appreciated ... :)

Anyone that can host it, please PM me with the details. I think it's not going to consume many GB, since it's a Beta for x64 versions, and i think there won't be many people interessed in downloading it...

Always willing to host :)

[email protected] - send details.

For now, i'll only release a QMUP pack for x64 versions.

If i have time, maybe i'll build a update package.

Here is the download link: http://gandolas.planetaclix.pt/autopatcher...ly2006_QMUP.exe (only 5.7 MB).

    • Does anyone here know if these updates are integrated into the UUP dump isos?

    • NVIDIA officially supports Ubuntu, as linked above with the GeForce NOW Hands on I did in collaboration with Paul Hill.
    • TO be clear I am not running linux today, however I keep thinking about it. And I want to make sure there are minimal obstacles if I decide to make that switch in the coming months.
    • Yes, I actually glossed over the Linux part from the OP. You could always go for a 9070 XT and if you really want to play Ray Traced games in the future, GeForce Now is pretty damn good on Linux https://www.neowin.net/news/nvidias-native-geforce-now-app-for-linux-bridges-the-gaming-gap-hands-on/
