? for those who own the play/charge kit

Recommended Posts

Damn I barely have 360 and you already got 3600 :D :D

What are you talking about?

Oh and the Play & Charge is great. So nice not to have to worry about replacing the AAs when they die out, I can just plug in the Play & Charge mid-game once the ring-of-light on the controller starts flashing. I have four controllers, I bought two Play & Charge kits and I'm going to buy the two stand-alone Xbox 360 Rechargable Battery Packs. That way I can alternate charging the rechargable packs on the four controllers depending on which two need it at the time. :)

Does anyone know if you can use the Play & Charge kit to use the controller on the PC?

Because when I connected it to my PC, and turned the controller on, it said it found a "USB Device."

Sorry for stealing the thread, but I figured this was the proper place to ask.

I think people came to the conclusion that Play & Charge only provides power to the controller, not data as well.

Unfortunately it doesn't seem to work. MS have 360 controller drivers on their site but they only work for the wired pad. As you say, the wireless + play and charge kit on a PC does cause a device to get detected but it seems there are no drivers for it.

That was luck then because at the moment you can't even get things like a controller.

Before I bought my Premium I was able to find and buy every accessory apart from the hard drive. It did however take me almost a week and a lot of driving around shops to get them. But I think the accessories will start to filter through now more often, now that the christmas rush is over.

    • XBOX is at the end of its generational life cycle and wasn't selling much anyway. They need to figure out the pricing for XBOX Helios. However, I'm not buying the DRAM shortage with AI preferring HBM. I think it's industry gouging.
