Just wanted to congratulate GCN8 for making what seems to be the ONLY Vista theme that has working Log Off/Shutdown buttons!!!

Shame no other themers takes this usability into consideration with their Vista themes :(

The Search bar within the Start Menu does not need to be there for it to look authentic as the Search bar can be turned off in 5270

and the All Programs line moves down to fill in.

hey GCN, yeah its your theme (Y) and I did mention in my first post that this theme is not by me. Im modding it to resemble more like the original aero basic. And i didnt release it till i get the permission from u. Now that u're here i wanna ask the permission to release it with the credit goes out to you. May i? :wub:

Umm, I dont think GCN owns any rights to anything. He ripped most (if not all) images from MS Vista 5270. I mean, I dont see why ask permission from someone if the "original creator" isnt even the actual original creator.

Fix the minimize, maximize, and close buttons to the flat look like we had in KoL's theme, those were hot and very accurate to MS's vista theme.

I'd say that punkie version is a bit more polished than that one or it must be the screenshot because their a lot of aliased corners and such.

This does look very nice I hope Microsoft doesn't have anything to say about it. Looking forward to downloading it when you release it.
