Just moved the computer into my room, so I figured I'd post it here. Some things in the picture:

Awesome blink-182 poster

Obligitory "Bushisms" calendar

Some 2.1 Bose speakers

17" Dell monitor

Dell Dimension 4500

5G iPod 30gb

1G Silver iPod Mini 4gb

Logitech Ultra X keyboard (<3 laptop style)

Logitech MX1000

and the new kickass chair I got today from Office Depot, it's so comforable

This workstation is expensiv:|:|

Radish?

Wow, NICE setup dude. The photography equipment ALONE probaly costs the same as my ENTIRE setup.

VERY nice work....

My only thing is....head over to wal-mart or target and get some velcro cable ties and a big bundle of zip ties...tidy up those cables. I bet it would take an hour if you wanted to just pull out one of your monitors.

Anyone know what desk this is? I am looking for a new desk and this really pleases the eyes

Are you sure it's the desk that's pleasing your eyes and not all that technological goodness?

Mice, cameras, tablets, displays, computers

Why don't people read? There have been pages full of everyone complimenting Radish and telling him to clean up the cables. ITS NOT HIS DESK!! It was just a very expensive workstation.

All that stuff looks yummy too

I think I figured it out... the guy bought Z-Line Matrix, Computer Desk; one Z-Line Matrix, Desk with Pullout File and Pencil Tray; and then connected the two desks with a Z-Line Matrix, Corner Connector.

Thanks to ro8521 for pointing me in the right direction (Y)

Well, in ikea you have workplace desks... Ikea Galant series..

You can build one like that, even larger...

They have white, light brown, and dark brown..

I have one in the shape of his with lightbrown wood, very pleased with it :)

@Liquid - Aren't Panasonic televisions the best. I have been a loyal buyer of theirs for many years.

I love it, BUT there are issues. Most people that own this tv are experiencing a ghost image to most objects just slighly to the right. Also text on the edges is blurry and the overscan is pretty high. Overscan is easily fixed in the service menu but the other two problems might be faulty hardware. Could be an error on the line so they might have to recall the tv to get it fixed.

    • It won't perform hugely better than the 3080 unless you're VRAM limited in games. Have you tried putting new thermal pads on them 3080 and giving it a good clean to see if you can regain your temps and overclock?
    • Windows 95 offered the ability to add and edit the right click menus, on a per file type basis. This feature seems to be missing in the new file explorer. Are they bringing it back as a "new" feature?
    • It's nearly time to replace my aging Founders Edition 3080, it doesn't OC as nicely as it used to and it's running around 10c warmer than it did when I first bought it.  I don't have budget for much more than what I spent on the 3080 and locally, that means the best GPU I can manage is a 9070XT. On this basis I have a few questions: 1. At present I don't use ray tracing, if this was to change, would this GPU be an issue? 2. How does it compare on a performance basis? 3. Are the drivers worse or better than those for nVidia? 4. Linux support, is it there? 5. Anything else I should be aware of if I were to make this change? 6. Is it a good idea or shall I try and keep the 3080 a little longer.
