Gonna have a chance for PSU here coming up. FSU will get a field goal at best.

WOW, OFF THE UPRIGHT! still 23-23, PSU has a really good chance here.

So uhh... when it comes to kicking situations I think I might just go for it from now on

Wow, now what are they trying to do? I wouldn't try to kick it on 3rd, not with that kicker at least.

Okay, good, they were just confused apparently as the announcers said, gonna try to get a little more first, or at least line it up a little better. I doubt they are gonna mess up again though.

Wow, first down, looking even worse for FSU.

I guess "F$U" is one of those clever things like "M$". I think I'll just start replacing all of my S's with $'s

I guess you weren't around for the Free Shoes University scandal in the 90s. Thus the F$U.

Feels great to have yet another team own F$U. Way to go PSU.

I don't know of it, no, and if there is some "reason" to say it then I apologize. I am just tired of seeing little kids say things like "M$" and just assumed it was another similar situation.

No need to apologize. I dont know if you can find much info on it on the net, but I'll look for a summary.

Ah, found a classic article on it: http://tampatrib.com/Sports/columns/MGBWRXPQFGE.html

Method: lets just say FSU has had issues with field goals in the past.

I know. Wide Right will be forever associated with the Seminoles.

/\ I think your probably right...VT has an extremely immature and inexperienced team this year (emotionally and physically)...FSU has played great in big games and VT has stalled out this year in big games.

As for the classless move that Marcus made...

The following is a statement from Virginia Tech Director of Athletics Jim Weaver:

"The unsportsmanlike conduct of quarterback Marcus Vick in yesterday's Gator Bowl game against Louisville is unacceptable behavior and contrary to the Hokies Respect Campaign.

Such on-field action is not reflective of Virginia Tech football nor of the values we hold at Virginia Tech. I and my colleagues in central administration are embarrassed and this athletic administration will not condone such acts of unsportsmanlike conduct. We will review and assess this incident further and deal with it accordingly."

There was a big segment in our local news (Roanoke/Blackburg) about the actions of Marcus and public opinion around here. 100% of the feeback from the public (locally) was that what he did was intentional and should be suspended ...48% (I believe) want him suspended indefinatly. Thats just not Va Tech football and it was an embarassment to all of us VT fans...

FSU - 8-5

UF - 9-3

Now all those noles can shut up about going to the orange bowl instead of a bowl like the outback bowl. You have to take care of your own business before you talk smack. Losing to your rival and then losing your bowl game, I hope that doens't sit well with them.

    • OpenAI is rolling out a major upgrade to ChatGPT memory by Pradeep Viswanathan OpenAI is rolling out a major upgrade to ChatGPT's memory, making the system more capable, current, and scalable across long-term use. Memory allows ChatGPT to remember useful details about users, including their preferences, projects, and constraints. Instead of starting every conversation from scratch, ChatGPT can use this context to provide more relevant responses in future chats. OpenAI first launched saved memories in February 2024. That feature allowed users to explicitly ask ChatGPT to save information into its memory, such as travel plans or writing preferences. However, this system had limits because it depended heavily on users giving clear instructions to remember something. Additionally, saved memories could become stale over time. In April 2025, OpenAI expanded memory by allowing ChatGPT to reference past chat context outside the saved memories list. This was powered by a background process called “dreaming,” which automatically curates memories from chat history. This made ChatGPT better at learning from natural conversation without requiring users to manually save every detail. Today, OpenAI announced a more capable and compute-efficient memory architecture built on top of dreaming. This new system improves ChatGPT’s ability to carry forward useful context, follow user preferences, and remain accurate as time passes. According to OpenAI’s internal evaluations, the new system improves factual recall from 67.9% in 2025 to 82.8% in 2026. Preference adherence improves from 55.3% to 71.3%, while accuracy over time improves from 52.2% to 75.1%. The best part of this new system is a new memory summary page where users can review ChatGPT's memories. Users can even update details, correct information, or give instructions on what topics ChatGPT should bring up and when. This new, improved memory system is available to ChatGPT Plus and Pro users in the US starting today. It will roll out to more countries, as well as Free and Go users, in the coming weeks.
    • I work for a video production company in Australia. The camera operators shoot footage and then pass the SD card over to the editors. Much easier than handing over the entire camera. Plus, on a busy day you can hand off the SD card and then pop another in for the next shoot. Or, you might have used multiple SD cards because you need the extra space for a long shoot. I also use USB cables and wifi for transferring footage, but in many cases an SD card reader is the easiest method.
