add the red line into style.css:

body {

[...]

background: #ff0000;

}

#ff0000 is the hex-value of the color you want to use, in my example it's red.

You have to edit all the edge-images aswell.

the first two signs are the hex-value for red, the second pair for green, the third for blue.
