Columbia
I'm looking for an excellent alternative for the wireles zero service to manage my wireless connections. Something better than boingo or Wireless Network Ignition would be great! Columbia
Windows 2000/XP preferrably but it would be cool if it could run on 98 as well. I have a Belkin Wireless Pre-N network card and Wireless Network Ignition is not compatable. I wan't to know if there is a program that runs on the same calibar or better than WNI. raskren
The card itself should come with its own (usually crappy) config utility. Is there some functionality you need that WZERO can't provide? Columbia
I faintly remeber using a shareware wireless utility on someone's laptop that had a desktop widget as well. Anyways, it was able to detect wireless access points that wireless zero couln't even pick up! Konfabulator had a gigantic wifi strength meter that works with most, if not all clients. Don't forget detection and connection are two entirely different things. Columbia
I finally found out what it was. It's Toshiba MyConnect, haven't used it in a while. Hopefully my opinion of the app is still the same. The frontend looks slick as hell.
