How do you arrange your icons?

I'm not sure if this is the place to post this, but this is an icon related question.

Looking in my icons folder it's a big mess.. I was just wondering how you guys arrange them (categories and stuff) ??

I know this is a weird question.. but it's 4:00AM here in Israel.. :s

1 icon, my Recycle Bin put under the taskbar, top left corner of the screen. Other temp icons I just throw in any order on the left of my screen.

I just catagorize them by artist.

Sorry if I wasn't clear, but I meant the icons that are stored on your hdd, not the ones on the dtop.

I arrange them by name, either in icons or thumbnails.

Glad to help. I organize everything but my software like this. Instead of seperating the software by Company, I break it up into four groups; Games, Internet, Multimedia & Utilities.

No idea why, just seems to make sense, even though it 'breaks' the standard. Music is by artist, Icons by artist and so on...

My throbber just sits there. I made a really nice animated throbber, but my computer is too fast to see the darn thing ;)
