Question
Rivers
Hi,
I wondered if any one has had the same problem as me...
I installed spiderman 2 a few weeks back and noticed that there is a strange / random beeping noise in the game coming through the external speakers.
I thought little of it as I think the game is pants and put it down to the game in general.
I have just installed Crime life - gang wars and have the same problem again.
I have updated my graphics driver and audio drivers since spiderman 2 to the latest ones but still no joy.
Other games like stronghold 2 do not do this.
The sound reminds me of an old spectrum kinda lol
my specs:
Windows xp sp2
AMD Athlon xp 3200+
512mb ram
ATI radeon 9800 pro 128mb
c-media ac97 audio
latest direct x just installed.
no driver conflicts and temps according to bios are ok
I am so desperate, sad and bored I recorded the sound with my phone.. but its a amr file.
Any help would be appreciated.
btw I did a google check and a forum check on here first but found very little :(
