Belinea 102035W 20.1" Widescreen LCD

Recommended Posts

I doubt there is that much of a difference between VGA and DVI in terms of picture quality, it looks great to me at the moment via VGA. Maybe next month I'll switch to DVI. I have to buy a new graphics card with DVI output, since I only have VGA at the moment.

You should really get a dvi cable. If you are currently using the vga cable in your pics, I think that you will be pleasantly surprised when switching to dvi.

care to elaborate on that. Or even a link? I've always thought of them as the same as far as image quality since it doesnt seem VGA has reached its max potential anyways.

Any word on a US release? Or perhaps someone will sell a few through Neobay ;).

one can hope. Could we just pay a hefty shipping charge and get it or is there some kind of restriction?

Yeah, VGA looks excellent already on this screen. The DA to AD converter already does a great job. I've run some test patterns and everything is pin sharp. No interference whatsoever on the screen.

It's not out yet in the USA. Not sure when though. I don't think it will, since Belinea is a brand of maxdata which is based in Germany.

-No height adjustment

overclockers.co.uk says: - Height adjustable stand (100mm travel)

Anyway the picture on my CRT is starting to go...and this baby is only ?340 on overclockers.co.uk

So tempting...

Hopefully someone like Viewsonic will use this screen on their own model.

Check out the Viewsonic VA2012W. Seems to have the exact same specs.

PROs/CONs:

+ Very good image and overall quality

+ no dead pixel

+ widescreen rocks :)

+ USB Hub (but didn't try it yet)

+ very nice design

+ good price

- no DVI cable included, only VGA (I had to buy one myself, and now the back plate which covers the cables doesn't fit anymore)

- USB Hub is at a strange position (it's meant for keyboard and mouse, I guess)

    • This 4K webcam from Acer is now only $59.99 by Taras Buria Those looking for an affordable, high-resolution webcam from a reputable manufacturer can check out the latest deal from Acer, which puts its 4K webcam at a solid price. Thanks to a 14% discount, you can buy this all-metal 4K webcam from Acer for just $59.99. Despite the affordable price tag, the webcam has a pretty large 1/2" CMOS sensor manufactured by Sony. Apart from its size, it supports additional conveniences, such as high dynamic range and phase-detection autofocus (PDAF). Plus, the camera ensures you do not have to buy additional audio equipment, as it comes with two built-in high-sensitivity microphones, a built-in background noise filter, and the ability to pick up your voice from up to 2.5 meters away. Acer is not cheaping out on materials, and the webcam is enclosed in a more premium metal case, which is also good at heat dissipation (high-resolution cameras can get quite hot). And to make sure no one is peeping at you when the camera is in use, there is a magnetic cover also made of metal. Additional conveniences include an LED status indicator and a built-in mount that lets you place a camera on a tripod. • Stop reporting AR glasses as an X inch screen, Y distance away. That is a horseshit meaningless spec. Report on the actual FOV angle. That's all that matters. And for the record, this FOV is ~49degrees. So we're talking about HoloLens level FOV... i.e. it's like looking through a piece of paper at arm's length.
