[Shell Patcher] Tango Icons for Windows

On the subject of uTorrent, i've been working on some gnome *.bmp's for uTorrent today..

So far i've done the tab icons, and status icons

On another note, I've been entertaining a friend from out of town for the past week, but I'll try to clean stuff up and get my hosting act together (I very miss having my own site to use as temporary hosting / bounce-off / testing, so I'm going to host myself), and spin a new release of STTP:XP that I've been meaning to in a bit. Won't say "next few days" since I have a history of way overpromising on that account, but it's coming. Minor stuff, really - updates to GIT2 and Tangerine, and more one-shots than just my mouse - but enough to be worth putting out.

Did someone try to make WD icon yet?
Rather than making a WD logo... shoot for the devices themselves. If it's the MyBook, the guy at quantum-bits.org started a MyBook icon that just needs some scaling and touching up, and maybe slight recolouring for the correct indictator light colours.

MyBook was excactly what I had in mind. Great find. Let's hope he finishes it or someone else does. :)

This is beautiful and like the first guy that post, I Love You Too. :laugh:

Does anybody know where I can find the tango icons for OpenOffice? A long time ago I had these icons but I can't remember where to get them. These tango icons replace the Windows icons inside OpenOffice programs such as Calc and Writer.

AFAIK, the OpenOffice package Lokheed put out doesn't work on the more recent versions of OpenOffice - but here's the link anyways: http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/38088601/

I'm using a mix.

Vert's shell patcher with Ooo selected, Stefeq's patcher minus the toolbars and another toolbar which is tango and not industrial and then I just reload vert's and it's all good.

can't edit my last post so here's new thing i wanted to ask, is there a Steam, CS:S or HL2 tango icon? :)

There is a Half-Life icon floating around some where. I can't remember where at the moment...I believe there was a link to it (and a couple other games) in this thread about 10 or so pages back.

      Nothing is stopping you from continuing with your testing cadence. If updates are released every 2 weeks instead of 4, and you test once every 4 weeks, the exact same amount of patches will still be available for you in those 4 weeks. For example: Before 4th week - patch 1, 2, 3, 4 After 2nd week - patch 1 and 2 4th week - patch 3 and 4 Still the same amount after 4.

      Everyone else has said it. I'm gonna say it - you don't know what you're talking about. I do. I have two laptops. One work, one personal. I have access to two more laptops - both personal. At home I manually update my personal laptop when I see on Neowin that there is an update - I carry on and only apply the updates when I am ready. My work one only updates when my workplace decides to send it - I carry on and only apply the updates (when they actually arrive, which is usually days after the release) when I switch off the laptop at the end of the day as usual. The two other personal laptops only get updated when I get to it which is rarely - the people who own them carry on using them until I get to it and update them. All of the browsers on all laptops are configured to restore the tabs when launched. Google and Microsoft have changed from 6 weeks to 4, and it looks like it's going to move to 2. None of these changes affect how any of these browsers on the laptops are used. Not one jot. My advice to you is stop panicking whenever you see an update. Just carry on with what you're doing. This even benefits you in a way - from your comment you sound like you don't like the changes or the frivolous new features - great - then carry on as before!
