Just got my first Mac.

Processor: Dual 2.0GHz PowerPC G5

Frontside bus: 1GHz per processor

Memory: 1.5 Gigs of PC3200 (400MHz)

Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200 Ultra with 64MB DDR

Hard Drive 1: 160GB Serial ATA; 7200 rpm

Hard Drive 2: 74GB Serial ATA; 10,000 rpm

Optical drive: 8x SuperDrive (DVD-R/CD-RW)

System software: Mac OS X version 10.4 Tiger

Having DVI problems with it, but over all satisfied with the computer. My favorite feature of this mac: it doesn't make any noise. I cringe when I turn on the PC beneath it... it sounds like a jet airliner taking off...its so noisy.

My Mac had it for 3 Years this december, Still runs like its brand new, looks like its brand new, and never had a problem with it. Compared to my Windows Laptop which is only a few months old and is crap. My mac runs a lot faster.

And they live in harmony on my desktop with my Windows machine...granted the Mac does see more online action. I'm not going to fully switch but they'll always be both systems on the desktop from now on.

    • Because of the EU (a good thing) newer android devices been getting 5 years worth of security patches. Except some Motorola which found the loop hole, and offer ZERO updates. In addition, Google for years have been making where it can patch some stuff by updating the core Google Play Store itself.  As echoed earlier,  you take the security risk in to your own hand beyond supported.
