Is there an easy way to open msstyle files in ResEdit? It only seems to want to open .rc files.

A very nice theme. I have 4 slight comments. The pane color in "Wireless Connections" & "Search Companion" is not matching the theme:

And the "Selected Items" Color (light blue) somehow feels awkward when you use the black LE5 style. Lastly the green progress bar seems out of place - maybe make it orange like the pane headlines?

Can these be fixed / modified in an update?

You can simply use the old search behaviour :

Create a new text file, and paste this :

REGEDIT4

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\CabinetState]

"Use Search Asst"="no"

Then save it and rename it whatever.REG

Just launch it and maybe with a reboot you will have a better search bar.

For the shellstyle and the progressbar, just read through the hole thread and you'll find your awnser :)

Apparently the downloads have been corrupted. They now show up as unknown when you download them and even if you rename them to shellstyle.dll it doesn't work. I confirmed that i did everything else right by using a differently shellstyle.dll and putting it in my directory structure and that one worked fine.
