+vlsi0n Subscriber¹ Posted February 16, 2006 Subscriber¹ Share Posted February 16, 2006 Machine Type: IBM 2170 Model Number: 801 OS: Win98 SE The above is the computer I am trying to connect to the internet. I have the PCI Ethernet card but I reformatted my old computer (which is the one above) and now it seems to be missing the driver for the "PCI Ethernet Controller" card. I opened the computer up and I didn't see which company made it so I'm assuming it's the stock one that came with the computer. If anyone has/knows where to get the driver can you help me out? Thanks! Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/433021-pci-ethernet-controller-driver-problem/ Share on other sites
Eternally1027
Get Bashrat's Driver pack for LAN adapters over at www.driverpacks.net. Unzip it and burn it to a CD. Then have the computer search those folders for the driver. That does the job for me ~80-90% of the time. Hope that helps.
