Suggestions:>

1. The line under taskbar gives it a nice look, don't change it.

2. The tray expansion button needs work, doesn't quite blend in. Maybe should be like the button used in start menu for "All programs".

3. The circle for "Maximize" button was nicer. The box variant is too dull.

4. I have desktop toolbar on the taskbar, "Desktop" is typed in light blue, should be white or lighter blue, easier for eyes.

5. "All programs" list is too dark, might look better in same shade as inactive windows.

6. The X on "Close" button should be centered imo.

This is the most waited VS ever for me. The orange one will be a hit.

Keep up the good work!

My points EXACTLY. I love the line under the taskbar now.. It makes the theme "different" and "refreshing".

I agree 100% with making the expand taskbar button be the same button as the All Programs button, plus I think it will kinda tie the line under the toolbar in a little more. Get the eye off it a little more for those people that dont like it.

I love some of the features in the consept screenshot.. But the over all design of the beta is outstanding.. Really loving it.

I found something i aint to keen on! When you move ur mouse over a program in the task bar or say u minimize a program its still pressed down, lets take MSN window for example

When its like that it is very difficult to notice if someone is talkin to you!

Hope you understand lol!

Thanks for the kind words and feedback (Y)

1. Line on taskbar is staying *indefinately*

2. Systray expander will be changed (smaller version of All Programs)

3. Button cut-off text will be fixed (and inactive state added)

Everything else mentioned I've already commented on.

I love the start button so this is staying for the time being. I will however, design an alternative.

What about an alpha-blended WB5 ver. It would be teh sex because it would be smooth as hell on both dark and light versions. And you could theme the right click menus.

Hey apparently I'm one of the few people that actually digs the little white bar... I like the whole idea of having the programs list as tabs, however... I think the taskbar buttons look nicer when they're a bit more round, what do you think?

I agree, I think that looks pretty awesome. Fixes the one thing that was really bugging me about this theme... Being symmetrical is good ;)

I had the same idea Shaywood did but never posted it. Here is my version, no need to change any content margins. The font is Calibri because that's what I changed all my fonts to...

A very good work! The colors are inverted, it's a very nice style! Compliments and thank you for sharing it :)

    • I haven't paid for windows since windows 8. So I guess I would be happy to pay for a new version if it meant seeing fewer adverts (none) or product pushes. But that applies to _any_ service or OS.
    • Save 35% on Sony's SS-CS5M2 3-way high-res bookshelf speakers by Taras Buria Sony is currently offering a big discount on its SS-CS5M2 bookshelf speaker, saving you 35% on a set of high-quality audio equipment. The SS-CS5M2 is a passive 3-way bookshelf speaker with a 5.12-inch woofer, a 25 mm soft-dome tweeter, and a 19 mm super tweeter. This design allows different drivers to handle different parts of the sound spectrum for a clearer, more detailed audio when watching movies or listening to music. The compact cabinet size allows you to place these speakers on shelves, desks, or stands, making them a practical choice for apartments, bedrooms, and small living rooms. Despite its compact size, the SS-CS5M2 delivers up to 100 W of power. Note that since the speakers are passive, you will need an amplifier to drive them. However, if you do, you can use them for high-resolution music, thanks to a claimed frequency response of 53 Hz - 50 kHz. It is able to extend so far high in the spectrum as a result of those super tweeters. While they will work with most amplifiers and AV receivers, Sony says this pair is a perfect match for its AV receivers, such as STRDH190, 590, 790, or 1000. • So they somehow expect Apple to easily make it so that if I install say DeepSeek that DS can then handle all the tasks that Siri would be doing while integrated in the OS? That sounds like just rediculous.
    • For ray-tracing, the Radeon RX 9070 XT is better than the GeForce RTX 5070, but worse than the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti The Radeon RX 9070 XT is similar to the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti in rasterization Both AMD and NVIDIA have had serious issues with drivers in the past, so I can't say that one is better or worse than the other. Yes. AMD has better support Linux than does NVIDIA. Use Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) to uninstall NVIDIA's drivers before installing AMD's drivers. That's up to you. Supplies of memory is unpredictable because AI using up a lot of memory. As a result, there is a lot of volatility in video card prices.
