Thanks for the feedback!

Final will include more colours (orange, black and green probably). I doubt there will be Beta 2.

I'm going to be busy for the next week so I can't work on the theme. That is why I released Beta 1, its entirely useable for the time-being.

Yeah! Hopefully the final build will have the other styles (taskbar, topbar, etc) shown in the alpha builds as well.

I don't know if this has been mentioned already, or if it's even a bug (as opposed to a yet-to-be implemented feature), but there is a problem with scroll bars in some programs. If you right click on the scroll bar so that the context menu covers up some of the bar, and then left click (and hold) somewhere on the scroll bar, the part that was just covered by the context menu changes color correctly, but the rest of the bar does not change. When you release the left mouse button, everything goes back to working correctly. Here are some pictures that make it easier to see..

Mouse over bar ......... right click, context menu................ left click and hold back on bar, color change only where context menu was.

Also, great work so far.

I'm strongly believe that this is a bug in the windows rendering engine, not the theme.

There also a similar bug for the progress bar and I've seen it on all themes.

Yeah, I just tried the same thing with a couple other themes (including the default Luna) and it still happens. So it does appear to be a bug with Windows skinning in general.

I had the same problem. I ended up using getright to download it. Why is there such a problem with this file? Can we get a mirror somewhere?

I uploaded it on Rapidshare.de:

I know it's not the best host, but I think it's the most stable free host site.

Hope this helps :D

I hate to be the Simon Cowel of visual styles, but b0se, this isn't your best work. I like the overall style, but it has it's roughness. I'm glad to see you switching it up a little, but it should be a little more refined. Hopefully we'll see some improvements in the next version.

It's a BETA. :pinch:

really, i'm getting sick and tired of hearing people use "it's a beta" as an excuse. Personally, I think currently Gui Air is pretty good in itself but still needs some touch ups here and there. Greenlemon was making a constructive criticism and that I think is what betas are all about, accepting every constructive criticsm and using it to better the product. Just by claiming "it's a beta" doesn't do anything for the product.

He said, "it is rough, it needs to be refined." So what was contributed aside from stating what is already known?

I believe b0se knows that is isn't 100% polished, judging by the [beta 1] tag in the title of the thread. And no, Beta isn't an excuse, it is a statement that people need to be patient.

    • Wow, this is some Iran, Cuba, China, Russia, North Korea-level citizen surveillance right there, the UK's government has gone totally mad. Power trip indeed, their politicians are totally out of control about this issue. They're starting to cross limits I wouldn't have imagined, to be honest. British people, fight this, your privacy and freedoms are in danger. Vote this government out of power.
    • Nintendo unveils The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake, and it's out this year by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe Confirming many rumors, Nintendo officially announced a remake of the classic The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, the very first game in the series that offered a 3D experience to fans. Unlike previous remasters and re-releases, the originally 1998-released fantasy adventure game is being remade from the ground up for the Nintendo Switch 2 console this time. "The Nintendo 64 classic returns for a new generation in 2026, reborn exclusively for Nintendo Switch 2," said the company about today's announcement. While Nintendo didn't go into much detail about the project, other than confirming its existence, we did get a small teaser trailer at the Direct presentation today. Catch the footage below: With a tapestry as the backdrop, the first half of the trailer tells the tale of Hyrule, the Kokiri forest dwellers, and their fairy companions. It goes onto introduce "one particular boy" without a fairy, which then cuts to a sleeping Link, showcasing what looks like the new art style being introduced in the remake. Unfortunately, no gameplay or a look at the world has been revealed yet. The game originally released for the Nintendo 64 back in 1998, offering a time travel adventure where Link is once again going up against the evil king Ganondorf. The hugely well-received title has only been playable on modern Nintendo consoles using the Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake for the Nintendo Switch 2 doesn't have a firm release date yet, but Nintendo says it will be released sometime in 2026. Considering just how many publishers are avoiding the Grand Theft Auto VI release nowadays, the company may copy that strategy and also opt to bring this out before November this year.
