theyre from the 1up show and they said the screenshots are from the ps3 version running on dev kits

Trust me, there will be MANY spectacular death (and hit/impact) animations in the Darkness.

I know because I did the stunts during the many weeks that we motion captured all of them. The animation team and stuntmen in the Darkness project are not lazy. But why take my word for it? Just wait 'till the game is out and see for yourself.
