issues chaining of hotfixes

Hi All!

My apologies if I would not be posting in the correct one.

My main concern is slipstreaming official & request-only hotfixes. Again, my apologies.

If I may, this how my dilemma goes:

I have been trying to slipstream lots of Hotfixes (official & unofficial) but some always end up needing to be reinstalled. I have tried changing the sequence (by file name, by build date, by date created) with different combinations --- & all seem well until XP finishes it installation. I have also tried using the qchain.exe tool still with the same result. However when I ran qfecheck to verify I encounter reports like the one below.

I suppose there must be a hotfix or some hotfixes that prompt this to happen!

However, please know that all these hotfixes have been released after the official release of SP2.

ive no idea as ive never done it, but why dont you try RyanVM's update pack, its designed for intergrating hotfixes into your setup disk!

I have tried that too but some of the updates/hotfixes aren't there.

id advise you to use it anyway and include the odd missing ones yourself afterwards, wouldnt it save a lot of time?

it might also be a good idea to look for help with your issue there seeing as its ryans specialty ;) and maybe look into why those hotfixes you say are missing actually are missing!
