I'm using the latest version of eMule Xtreme with XP Pro SP2 + NETGEAR DG384G router and use Outpost Firewall Pro as a software firewall.
I'm connecting fine to eMule network and downloads are working at good speeds but whenever I try to update the server list I receive the following errors:
18/03/2006 11:39:43: An error occurred connecting to the server, Error:12029
Umm, read my answer again!
If you have something to add or contribute, feel free. Otherwise my point was that you apparently dont want faster updates... so you want slower updates by process of elimination.
If you have something to contribute, meaningful answers are better.

Hi,
I'm using the latest version of eMule Xtreme with XP Pro SP2 + NETGEAR DG384G router and use Outpost Firewall Pro as a software firewall.

I have port 50321 forwarded on my router and have configured eMule to use this port.
Here's the rest of my software firewall settings:

Remote Host 127.0.0.* -> This allows for Loopback. Unsure if it is needed but I apply this to most p2p apps.

Can anyone tell me why I cannot update the server lists?
