Extending cingular contract

Our Cingular Blue 2 yr contract is up sometime in May. We currently have a nationwide plan of 450 min, Nights/Weekends, and 9.99 add a line for 49.99/month

The cheapest we could find with the new contracts is $59.99 with 550 min. Since my mom never has her phone on (shes uhh odd...) and i rarly go above 150 min, we dont need the extra 100 min for another $10 a month. Is there a way to keep the same price we are at now?

t-mobile is offering 700 min for 59.99 for the family.. would cingular bargin at all?

It's possible that they could bargain with you on it, your best bet would be to get ahold of one of Cingular's Representatives and find out.

Cingular Orange plans have Rollover, which compensate for competitors who offer 700 minutes for the same price.

If you look at Amazon.com, they supposedly have a 550 minute plan for $50 a month.

If your mom never has her phone on, why don't you just get yourself an individual plan and get her a prepaid phone? I'm kind of in the same boat as you.

See if you can just stay on the plan once the contract has finished. In Australia once your contract is finished you still have the same plan but you can cancle whenever you want. See if you can just stay on the same plan if that is what you want
