I could edit my previous post :pinch:

But here is are 2 new Miranda-IM skins that I'm working on:

mirandaimrelunaem3lentpreview2.png mirandaimrelunaem3lentpreview7.png

Let me know what you guys think ;)

Nice! I really like the one on the right. I think it'd look nice in a Luna Element 5 version too (hint hint :D ). Keep up the good work.

ok miranda is starting to make installing and customizing fb2k look like a piece of cake. really, i am totally lost. there is so little simple, straight forward help for this its almost impossible.

i have clist_modern_mod.dll, ieview.dll, i think i am missing something for png support although i have imgdecoder.dll in the plugins directory.

i just wanna bang my head on a table, screaming is possibly a valid choice. anger, anger and small squirrels that crawl up your legs and bite your ears. exploding badgers. is it too much to ask?

a simple you need this this and this, you get them there there and there, you put them there, there and there. you select this, that and that. 1 2 3.

seriously, i've been at this for about 4-5 hours, it's 5am and i am going to kill the milkman when he drives by on his milk float. i'm going to launch badgers on wires, that swing down and cut his head unless someone lays this out in easy steps.

i think the interweb is conspiring to make poorly documentated, terribly explained opensource projects so people end up screaming and throwing their monitors at passing crows. Its all a plot by hardware companies to make people break their stuff and buy new things to replace it.

ok, so if you haven't guessed. tether. end. going mad. s.o.s.

help will be greatfully recieved. now, i'm gonna go bag me a milkman.

It really isn't that hard.

Install these plugins to start with:

Modern Contact List Layered 0.4.2.8

IEView 1.0.5.2

SmileyAdd 0.1.12.3

png2dib 1.2.0.6

tabSRMM 0.0.8

Read everything carefully cause it really isn't that hard.

hey dude, cheers you helped me when i was just about going mad. I know miranda is an ongoing project, but the amount of documentation and it's organization is dreadful. I've learnt not to attempt to do this when tired though!

the thing that wasn't obvious to me is that i needed to download the latest dev build of miranda. Generally people are gonna steer away from dev builds in favour of the stables. am I wrong about this? It seems that it only worked when I got miranda 0403a50w.

sorry for my psychosis, the badgers have been reined in. i think if i have to go through that again my feet will drop off :(

But is it all working now?

yup it's working now. i'm very greatful, otherwise i would have gone mad, i'm quite sure. I think I might do a little tutorial sometime as a lot of what needs to be done isn't very obvious. like i said before, the miranda documentation makes foobar look like a treasure trove.

lol, yeah sorry about that.

My second hard drive was dying and my graphicscard fan was broken.

I'll make the changes today and maybe I'll upload the file today :p

I want to make some new Miranda skins for other visual styles as well.

I made one for Reluna Em3lent, 2 version but I havent released it yet.

I also made a gfxOasis one.

If you guys want those, just say it, and I'll see what I can do with the permissions :p

Update 4:

- Added extra version for Black and Blue version with the close button set to minimized.

I have removed the original minimize button in those versions.

I hope you guys like it this way ;)

Be sure to read the readme file in the archive file so that you know what to do with the included files :)

hmmmm...nothing is working.. not even the Miranda site.. so what exactly do I need to get this working? I read the readme says something about a skin selector.. any help would be appreicated.

I'll reupload the file with the right names :p

I've reuploaded the file with the right names and the right assignment. :)

This maintenance-focused release includes bug fixes, updated translations, and a range of safe enhancements. This release fixes a Windows security issue that could allow arbitrary file deletion during privileged cleaning (reported by Zeze with TeamT5). It also adds new cleaners (including a DNS cache cleaner, Claude Code, and Visual Studio Code forks), support for multiple Chrome and Edge profiles, new deep scan options for developer directories like node_modules and venv, and safer, faster file shredding. All Platforms Added cleaners for Claude Code, DNS cache, and many Visual Studio Code forks. Added support for multiple Chrome and Edge profiles. Chrome can now clean downloaded AI models. Deep Scan can optionally remove venv, __pycache__, node_modules, and .angular directories. Deep Scan is faster by skipping directories on the keep list. File shredding is safer, faster, and leaves fewer recoverable traces. Improved handling of cookies, symlinks, Unicode filenames, external processes, and configuration files. Improved Expert Mode warnings and long warning dialogs. Fixed crashes related to cleaner detection, invalid Unicode, and malformed cleaner data. Clipboard is now cleared automatically after shredding files via paste operations. Linux Added AppImage support. Added cleaners for Visual Studio Code, Codeium, Librewolf (.deb), Transmission (Flatpak), and Profanity. Improved Linux trash detection, including Snap-installed applications and mounted drives. Fixed Wayland root CLI issues and several Snap-related problems. Improved package dependencies, AppStream metadata, and desktop file handling. Fixed startup crashes when Python Requests is unavailable. Windows Fixed a security vulnerability that could allow arbitrary file deletion when cleaning with elevated privileges. Added %WindowsSystem% variable support. Improved clipboard clearing using native Windows APIs. Improved installer experience on unsupported Windows versions. Reduced installer size and improved application robustness. Fixed Unicode handling, filename anonymization, Git revision reporting, and splash screen stability. • DriversCloud 12.1.6 by Razvan Serea With DriversCloud (formerly My-Config.com), you can explore your computer easily, safely and free. The application quickly scans your PC and identifies the hardware and software components. DriversCloud then establishes a list of the different drivers compatible with your OS and hardware. Download the drivers needed for the proper functioning of your computer. To detect your drivers, DriversCloud also displays a detailed summary of your hardware and software configuration, analyzes your BSOD, monitors in real-time your PC voltages and temperatures and lets you share your configuration online. Once the hardware components have been detected, you will be able to obtain with just a few clicks the latest drivers corresponding to the identified hardware. You can record your configuration on the site for free, and can get the corresponding URL to post the configuration to technical forums, e-mail and social networks. You can also download the detection result (the configuration) as a PDF file. To protect the user's privacy and data confidentiality, a 4-level confidentiality system was created that filters the XML marks and gives control to the user. The default level can be modified in the preferences. Using the maximum level will prevent the user from publishing his configuration and generating a corresponding PDF file. In non-connected mode, each XML configuration is stored on the server for one day (for practical reasons). However, you are given the opportunity to manually delete it. Created in 2004, and continually improved, My-Config.com has established itself on the web as a free service to PC users running Windows and Linux operating systems. The service is designed to work with the most common Internet browsers (Edge, Firefox, Chrome, Safari).
