30" Cinema Display Vs. Enraged Signifigant Other

Because (which is evident to me now but wasn't at the time) she's a crazy c*nt.

so why did she do what she did? i.e. trash the screen..?!!? its not as if you did it behind her back.. if she was there.. and she didnt like it -why on earth didnt she walk away!?!?

GF = Make her pay for the damn thing and call it quits cause that bitch is crazy.

Wife = Bring it up during the divorce procedures.

It is a sign of what's to come down the road...

One word of advice. Where a cup to sleep from now on. ;) :shiftyninja:

Yeah, that part worries me a little. We are still together but it's strained. Needless to say I'm sleeping very lightly these days

There was a trip to ER at 5 AM and stictches for a nasty hand gash that happened during the wanton destruction (aforementioned shap clips right inside the frame. But she'll heal. She didn't even realize she was bleeding all over everything.

Goodness. I hope no one was injured.

That looks to be felony destruction of private property. Or is it love? You decide, but keep us posted

I think there is a very important lesson to be learned here.

I think it had more to do with the fact my income is directly tied to what

i do with the equipment(web/aaplication programmer. I was also the thing identified as being uniquely me and for her to target that speaks volumes

It seems like somehow you may have crossed the line and loved the computer more than your significant other ;)

All that aside, she definately has issues and isn't someone you should be around.

As soon as I get work it around without a knife in my sleeping ribs, she's gone

Damn poor monitor . You should ditch that b*tch and fast!

uh... that is harsh... im one to not have 'things' come between myself and those around me, but this is different. this is a sign of some serious mental instability...

i have to ask though, is the significant other pregnant? reason i ask? my x-girlfriend is baring... and ive notice some serious wierdness since, hence the reason for the "X" though im not sure how it will end up, i have to remain optimisitic.

No, no pregnancy, it's not even possible :(

I did not that only my critical equipment was bashed, Th gift of a 20: IMac and a 12" PB came through unscated. It took every once of nobilty I could muster too not add her rquipment to the top of the bonepile

Damn poor monitor . You should ditch that b*tch and fast!

She nhas ti *want* to leave first,,,,

Well... Ok.

It's a simple case of lack of communication *and* being tested.

The lesson I learned is this:

Never, ever do a 3-way even if you're convinced it's ok and a good idea. And if you do, act like you didn't like it and couldn't care less.

As for the relationship, eeehhh... We'll see.

Thats great... so can we assume the 3-way wasn't worth it? and who paid to replace everything?

Read down, I said it was *almost* worth it :)

Or... it would have been worth it to have lost just one item.

It's all replaced now, except for the pda/phone and I didn't care much for it anyway and will just wait for the Moto-Q. And I ended up paying for it.

Thats great... so can we assume the 3-way wasn't worth it? and who paid to replace everything?

So JohnMcc, are you going to stay with your significant other?

No, no pregnancy, it's not even possible :(

So it was a guy...and that's why she lashed out on your monitor. You liked it a little too much...right?

EDIT: I'm confused. lol! I need some Coca-Cola to start the day off.

lol, i dont know you,but i would kill her (or him :p ) or maybe dump her clothes to the street

I'm all about Karma and was going to suggest another threesome with a dude involved this time to even out the odds, resulting in you tossing all of your girls wardrobe out the door after you rip it to shreds but it would appear that in this case, from what I can read, you already had a threesome with a dude. This would lead me to say, you and your girl should find a sexy muffin of the female type and have at her.....tossing all of your girls clothes out the door after you rip it to shreds and spaz like a moFo for enjoying it.

:o sorry about your Display. I feel sorry for you but at the same time jelous about your 3some :p. Grats on the MacBook Pro and new Display, hope these ones live longer.

as for the girl...I hope you guys serously work out some problems or she leaves.

    • Yeah... The root of my comment, ostensibly, is how to spin the story via the actual technical merits of the solution! * Decentralized (aka federated) solution with built-in encrypted ephemeral message transport, * Transport via Relays (intermediary servers) with no message archival, * Second configurable pathway are actual email servers (if DNS records are programmed accordingly) via IMAP protocols carriage, * "Chat-over-Email" is the design pattern adopted; it can either leverage full-blown Email Server (must use the INBOX folder) to exchange all received messages/edits/reactions (so be weary of notifications overloads) [best practice is creating a separate email acct used explicitly for federated chat purposes!] or leverage its built-in Relay Server mechanism which actually resides on-device (by default but can be configured otherwise), * By virtue of be a decentralized/federated model, all other intermediary servers who may pass-along messages (while the recipient's final relay/device is inaccessible) cannot snoop on the messages due to the encrypted nature of contents. The intermediaries may, however, analyze the metadata due to the simple fact that routing mechanisms require hints for relay destinations. Unfortunately, whomever is posting about DeltaChat across socials are misleading with "zero metadata" claims -- especially when the Relays (according to their own technical documents) mandate the addition of chat-version metadata and other decorations in order to actually transport any message. -- Based on this summary, I'd prefer if they'd better dual-path message transport (email server add-in, federated relay engine) rather than patch-on email protocols to existing federated social media frameworks. They're frankensteining something rather than extending widely-deployed technology stacks.
    • Decentralized search result anonymization...
    • Russia invaded Crimea, so not sure what you are getting at. Are you saying that the E.U is like what the USSR was? What is wrong with wanting control over your own country? i bet Trump would not stand by and allow Canada to control the U.S.
