Safari on mac, firefox on windows

PS. just wait for a "OMFG ANOTHER POLL LIKE THAT? OMG OMG OMG OMG THE WORLD IS COMING TO AN END!"

be ready ;)

But this poll is specifically for Mac platform, not that everyone would notice that this poll is for Mac only and vote for Firefox/IE even though they don't use a Mac. If you don't use a Mac, please null vote.

Yeah, I know. That's why I voted Safari

Even though there are other thread's, i'll vote/comment in this one.

I use Safari, nice, minimal browser, and the engine is much faster than Gecko (Camino/Firefox), on par with Opera (and OmniWeb uses the same engine, just an older version), with standards support, well they all support a good amount of CSS, XHTML, DOM, etc. (although Safari has issues with named entities and XHTML 1.1, i got told i shouldn't be using XHTML when i asked how to fix it, not very helpful).

And the 4 people using IE, i feel sorry for you, doesn't any of the others run on your system (as IE isn't better than any of them in any way, and has been discontinued for a while).

Used to use Firefox along with over 20 various extensions on Linux and Windows, but since switching to a Mac, I've grown to like Safari.

By itself, Safari is quite minimal, but I use it with PithHelmet and Saft, which fill in most of the functionality that I used with Firefox extensions. Granted, no mouse gestures, but I've grown used to using the keyboard and additional mouse buttons instead.

One thing I love about Saft is its crash-recovery and session saving ability, in addition being able to undo closing the previous tab.

Safari.

I'm a MySpace ###### and some of those profile pages freeze up my Mac browsers (Safari, Firefox, Opera...) which sucks ass. LOL There should be a patch for Mac broswers to not freeze on those pages.

yer alot of them seem to crash on myspace, mainly due to the amount of different plug ins you need to listen to the music, watch the videos and other stupid things

    • Cooler Master MasterFrame 600 PC case is now 33% off on Amazon by Ivan Jenic The Cooler Master MasterFrame 600 is currently $109.99 on Amazon, down from its original $164.99 list price. That's 33% off and $55 saved on this premium aluminum mid-tower case with a modular design. If you're upgrading your PC case and want something that doesn't force you into a rigid layout, the MasterFrame 600 is worth a look. The case is built around the Cooler Master's FreeForm 2.0 platform, which lets you reconfigure the internal structure according to your hardware. Magnetic side panels allow for straightforward adjustments, and the case supports everything from Mini-ITX to E-ATX motherboards without compromise. There's also generous cooling headroom. Four pre-installed PWM fans handle airflow out of the box. GPU clearance goes up to 410mm, and the case supports radiators up to 420mm with room for three simultaneously. Truth be told, this might not be the prettiest case on the market, but it’s highly functional. The aluminum construction keeps the whole thing lightweight despite its size, and the finish looks noticeably better than the plastic mid-towers competing at this price point. If you want a serious, flexible case that prioritizes function over flashy aesthetics like RGB lighting, the MasterFrame 600 delivers at a reasonable price. • DK, I don't use the extended channel, I'm always on the latest release.
    • Your daily driver? Weird, seeing that you don't seem to understand how your own browser downloads and installs its updates. What you posted earlier is factually incorrect...
