:( Does any one have a Script or batch file (Windows 9x-XP if possible) that they can share or help me create where I can be able to Copy any type a file from a specific mapped drive/s and burn to a CD-RW, while keeping it all in stealth mode :shiftyninja: or some options within the script where I can choose to include pre and post job confirmations?

Desired Actions:

*Copy files from different folders/mapped drives :shiftyninja:

*Erase CD-RW :shiftyninja:

*Prepare/Copy files to CD-RW :shiftyninja:

*All withought any prompts (Optional)! :shiftyninja: :shiftyninja: -----Say what!! :woot:

I set one up for a bank (which if I bothered to back up the script I'd post bits) that verified files, copied them, loaded nero with a compilation and nero ejected the cd tray if it needed a disk. All they'd have to do is run the batch file and it took care of everything. (That was back with nero 5.0) it can be done, just a matter of what external software you have at your disposal.

You might want to take a look at the freeware AutoIt tool;

hxxp://www.autoitscript.com/

It's an amazing VB-like scripting engine for Windows, allowing you to do virtually ANYTHING you can do manually, even simulating keyboard/mouse actions and poking in the registry.

Scripts can be run in interpreted mode or compiled into .exe's with the included compiler. You can have user prompts or not - your choice.

I've written piles of scripts over the years to do all kinds of junk that takes too long manually or has too many steps, meaning I'll forget some etc.
