So I restored my computer. I have restored it before and it let me download it but now its not. It not installing Windows Genuine Advantage Validation Tool (KB892130) for me and I do not know why? I have a valid Windows XP. Anyone know what I can do to get this so i can get the security updates on windows Update.

Also, recently I have to click on flash to make it activate and work. Many people I have talked to have to do this as well. In my web page class it even is doing this. My professor said it might be something with Microsoft and Adobe. Like Microsoft didn't like something about Adobe (Adobe I think bought Macromedia). It there anything I can do that Flash will work without me clicking on it?

On the Windows Genuine Advantage Validation Tool (KB89213) update thing. I got it to install it on my computer, by finding it on this site http://www.bootdisk.com/bootlist/258.htm#4 if its not where it suppose to be go down to #4 where it says "Genuine Advantage Validation Tool Won't Install " for those people who are having problems. Here is what is says:

its_my_dime asked - Latest windows xp upgrade KB892130. Automatic download. It will download but the text says it wasn't installed. Several invalid attempts. Add/remove programs shows it but without a removal button. How do I either get this installed or clean it out to start again?

After running the tool, please return to Windows Update and try it again.
