Antivir

Avanast is heavy, Antivir has minimal impact on system performance and has a better record in detection then AVG and Avast

I could have sworn I saw a post on the official forums of AntiVir that said it had a significant memory usage increase in the latest update.

I could have sworn I saw a post on the official forums of AntiVir that said it had a significant memory usage increase in the latest update.

Well if thats the case, it used to be good.

Impact on system, as in real-time scanner.

Memory usage is bit different.

EG, Kaspersky uses very lil memory, in newest version, however, if the real-time scanner is enabled, applications take a fraction longer to load. Mulitask and then applications will take even longer to load as each process has to bottle neck through however fast the AV Real Time scanner is.

Norton, Kaspersky worst offenders

So when i look for a AV scanner, it has to be good memory usage wise and also impact on system (real time scanning). Nod32 is a great medium and i found Trend Micro Pc Cillin and Antivir also had good performance.

I'm surprised nobody has said this yet, but NOD32 was proven by thousands of experts around the worldto be extremely good... low memory usage, active watch and auto updates... You can download the trial version for 30 days and after that, it continues to do it's work except it isn't allowed to update.

By that time, you could have either bought it, or downloaded a new and more efficent virus software.

    • Regarding the AI photo, I LOVE AI in that regard, you ask it what you want and it gives you a lovey photo in under a minute, that would taken me an hour to make in photoshop and it wouldn't have looked nearly as good. 2 nights ago I spent a couple hours collaborating with AI.  I did not say write me an article. I would write one or 2  paragraphs, then I would ask it to clean it up so it read better but still keeps the information I was trying to convey.  Rinse repeat.
