WOW loot window wont display

In World Of Warcraft after I kill somebody when I try to right click on their body the loot bag icon is black and when I right click the body nothing happens, as in the loot window wont show up. How can I fix this?

You're out of range. Move in closer to loot :)

That's the thing, I am really close to it. I have looted before just that these last times I am not able to do it and I am standing right infront of it. =(

you need to be pretty much on top of the body.. and if nothing after that, then you have major lag

Have you tried deleting the contents of your interface folder (backing up anything you want to keep obviously ;)) and the WDB and WTF folders?

Delete contents of your interface folder. It'll work. Happened a few times to me.

It does sometimes, but if its lag, it won't occur all the time. When your interface is glitched, it happens a lot. If you try relogging a few times, and it is resolved, it's a lag issue. If not, interface problems. Certain file in your WoW folder can be deleted, then just restart WoW. Google it if that's the case.

Sometimes the actual location of a mobs body is different from where it displays on your screen.

If it wasn't an important mob, just leave it and move on.

Try removing any third-party mods you may have.

Try deleting your WTF folder and re-starting the game. What you're describing sounds like server lag.

Thanks for all the tips guys. But I guess it was something with the server or something else cuz the next day when I played again it was perfect. I didnt change anything at all really weird. It was weird, seemed like lag but I could do everything else EXCEPT looting anyways glad it is fixed.
