If you hook an Apple USB Keyboard up to a PC, what happens when you press the Apple Key? Does the Start Menu come up?

Maybe yes, maybe not. When I used my keyboard (Microsoft Internet Keyboard) on Linux and I pressed the Start Menu button, it did notting. I also have some extra buttons like Sleep, Calculator, My Computer, Web/Home, Favorites, Search, Mail etc... and they didn't worked either, but for those I think I need the Keyboard Software. Good question.

i thought that the apple key was equal to the alt on a pc keyboard... hmm

I've read somewhere that when you do it the other way around (ie hooking a 'normal' windoze keyboard to an apple) and you hit the windows key, it has the same function as the apple.

So I figure that that also should be the case the other way around..
