The Memory could not be "written"

i am runnin mirc with invision. when i try to exit the program. i get an error msg saying. The Instruction at 0x7c80997d" refrenced memory at"0x02740024." The Memory Could not be "written". Click on OK to terminate the program

I am runnin windows xp sp2 pro edition and i got 3GB of ram.

i already tried editing the boot.ini didnt help. i only get this error msg when trying to run this.

Try reinstalling the program, this is generally a program bug not a hardware issue.

:huh: You've editted boot.ini? What could that possibly have to do with it?

Anyway, does mIRC by itself do it? Or it just an Invision thing? It sounds like some dll being loaded by Invision. Just install a copy of mIRC to find out.

Typically this is a problem with the application you are using. If you really want to find out if it is hardware then run memtest on your machine for a while.
