^^ Eh lets calm down a bit?

 WHAT A LOAD OF CRAP! Stupid penalty kick! That was just junk  Australia really should have pressed more after Materazzi got the red card....props to Italy for playing very good defense for the most part....Still that was a crap penalty sucks for Australia :pinch: :pinch:

That's bull****.

****ing robbed. <snipped>

  a bit angry ain't you? lol.

IMHO, Fifa have to really look hard at using video tech to aid the ref now. Other sports use technology (tennis, rubgy, cricket etc) so why won't fifa use it!

The game was played equally. They both did great, minus italys red card.

But that penalty was BULL.

The australian player slid for the ball, didnt get it and even TRIED to move his head out of the way for the italian player. Clearly it wasnt a penalty. That ref is going to get hung and linched if he ever steps foot in Australia.

i can't wait until i get home and watch this game. :D

a lot of people have called me and said the foul was a bad call, but totti's goal was amazing wasn't it? i heard it was top left corner? great goal anyway right? :D he scored, at 2:59 over regulation :D kicked australia out :D Italy going to the qtr finals :D but australia is going home :D

:bounce:

You :D sound :D pretty :D happy about it :D hahaha (or high)

Seriously good for Italy but I have to see this call for myself after all the outrage hahaha

What a shame from a ref that was doing pretty good all game long

Makes me wonder if he (and FIFA) felt bad because Italy was cheated out of the 2002 cup by Korea coached by Hiddink

This penalty is worse than the Shevchenko one against Tunisia for the fact the referee was less than 15 feet away.

Australia v Italy 0:0 - Ref : 1

We beat Italy, just couldn't beat the bribes. It's another example of the influence of money in the World Cup.

Italy, I hope you got your money's worth. One of the biggest frauds in World Cup history.

Iterestingly some of Italy's players are involved in the Italian league match fixing court case at the moment. Many of them already flagged for expusion, but that's ok, you can play in the world cup. Flippin' Cheats.

:shiftyninja:

Putting all this cheating aside, Australia, in my opinion, had this coming to them. Why do I say this? Well, it was clear they were playing for OT by the way they played all the second half. When Italy counter attacked with 4 players and left 6 in the back (goalie included), Australia would take its sweet time going up the field instead of attacking the 6 men with full speed to catch them off guard. What, don't they know Italy has one of the toughest defenses in the World Cup?

    • Can you read? I've said I'm willing to pay more for a notchless (no notch) 3:2 screen.
    • Not even an OLED display on the laptops. Also it seems that the laptop design isn't the same as the Surface Ultra model. Looks like bargain bin at high prices.
    • make your own notch - it's not that hard
    • VirtualBox 7.2.10 by Razvan Serea VirtualBox is a powerful x86 and AMD64/Intel64 virtualization product for enterprise as well as home use. Targeted at server, desktop and embedded use, it is now the only professional-quality virtualization solution that is also Open Source Software. Presently, VirtualBox runs on Windows, Linux, macOS, and Solaris hosts and supports a large number of guest operating systems including but not limited to Windows (NT 4.0, 2000, XP, Server 2003, Vista, 7, 8, Windows 10 and Windows 11), DOS/Windows 3.x, Linux (2.4, 2.6, 3.x, 4.x, 5.x and 6.x), Solaris and OpenSolaris, OS/2, OpenBSD, NetBSD and FreeBSD. Some of the features of VirtualBox are: Modularity. VirtualBox has an extremely modular design with well-defined internal programming interfaces and a client/server design. This makes it easy to control it from several interfaces at once: for example, you can start a virtual machine in a typical virtual machine GUI and then control that machine from the command line, or possibly remotely. VirtualBox also comes with a full Software Development Kit: even though it is Open Source Software, you don't have to hack the source to write a new interface for VirtualBox. Virtual machine descriptions in XML. The configuration settings of virtual machines are stored entirely in XML and are independent of the local machines. Virtual machine definitions can therefore easily be ported to other computers.
