CONGRATS GERMANY!!! I'm italian, but if italy looses, i'll cheer for germany. I hope they win today versus Ukraine.

Here are my expecations:

1-Italy vs. Ukraine (Winner=Italy)

2-Germany vs. Argentina (Winner=Germany)

3-England vs. Portugal (Winner=Portugal)

4-Brazil vs. France (Winner=Brazil)

5-Italy vs. Germany (Winner=Germany)

6-Brazil vs. Portugal (Winner=Brazil)

7-Brazil vs. Germany (World Cup Winner=Germany)

****ing bull****.... good game for the Germans and congrats, but man, losing in a shootout without your goalie, what can you do... it's a ****ing bitter loss :|

They were lucky. Both teams played well, I think argentina played better overall, too bad that german goal...

Anyway, WE DIDN'T LOSE!

no he didnt, djpnuemo. be careful. first he came from poland so he would never do something like that and second you can easily misinterpret every waving, especially after something like that.

if you watch the replay, he sticks his arm and hand STRAIGHT out. it was no wave. and don't tell me to be careful.

^ lol

every team left was not as good as exepted, we are gonna be world champion!!! :)

Sure you will.

Anyway this match proved my theory.

Germans could not win against Argentina. (could at the penalties, but not during the gameplay)

And if you think that with this kind of game you can beat BR, germans must be dreaming.

Well, sure it will be fun to beat you again in the final.

Specially infront your own crowd.

;)

if you watch the replay, he sticks his arm and hand STRAIGHT out. it was no wave. and don't tell me to be careful.

oh you should be.

podolski is too dumb to do anything like that and even if it LOOKED LIKE the hail he obviously didnt do it on purpose, his parents came from poland and i think you know what the nazis did with that country?

Props to Germany for sticking through with that last minute goal and Lehmann for those saves.

Argentina still played the better game. I give my heart to them and they should be proud for their accomplishments. Ayala - you did great.

I'm still disapointed in Ballack. Diving and faking like that to give Ayala a yellow. Bad bad.

This game was evenly matched for 120 minutes. Two opportunities for each, two goals, and Germany wins the PK's.

Props to Germany for sticking through with that last minute goal and Lehmann for those saves.

It was far away from last minute :pinch:

yes, i know the history. that doesn't mean he would NEVER do it. i know what i saw and other places i've been talking about the world cup, others saw it too.

what, am i not allowed to give my opinion?! YOU be careful!

oh you certainly are.

but i saw that different.

am i not allowed to give my opinion?

WE BOTH should be careful.

WE BOTH should be careful.

:D

that definitely was a drama filled game. i was sitting on the edge of my seat for a LONG time. i really was rooting or argentina. although, winning the world cup when your the host, is probably the best feeling in the world. good luck to them.

    • NVIDIA officially supports Ubuntu, as linked above with the GeForce NOW Hands on I did in collaboration with Paul Hill.
    • TO be clear I am not running linux today, however I keep thinking about it. And I want to make sure there are minimal obstacles if I decide to make that switch in the coming months.
    • Yes, I actually glossed over the Linux part from the OP. You could always go for a 9070 XT and if you really want to play Ray Traced games in the future, GeForce Now is pretty damn good on Linux https://www.neowin.net/news/nvidias-native-geforce-now-app-for-linux-bridges-the-gaming-gap-hands-on/
    • One reason it might be running hotter is dust build up within the cooling or perhaps the paste has dried out. You could always try repasting your old GPU and cleaning the cooler. Your experience in Linux will be much better with an AMD GPU; the performance in gaming is much closer to Windows than nVidia would be. I personally think on Windows, AMD drivers are junk.
