Man, I find it laughable that whenever a team wins that the majority weren't rooting for, they are always categorized as divers and/or cheaters.

This is how i see it

Italy = trying to re-create the past glories ( 3 world cup wins aint it ? )

Germany = great host + Klose as the golden boot player

France = a nice farewell tribute to Zidane

Portugal = lots of already yellow and red card players lets see who plays the semi's

So much history between these 4 teams, I couldn't have asked for a better semi-finals and honestly, all 4 of these teams are winners to me. Sure we got babies, divers and cheaters but I think it will be football at it's best.

OK if Ronaldo didn't cheat, why did he wink at Scolari after Rooney was sent off. And why did he virtually headbutt Rooney at the start of the second half?

Doesn't sound like fair play to me.

that's so true. although i had picked england to at least make it to the finals, they didn't deserve it the way they played. they were very lucky to get as far as they did.

Penalty kicks are a part of soccer, otherwise they wouldn't be there. Portugal was better on penalties so they were better in the game. They deserved to win.

You must have watched a different game then! We held you through 120 minutes, half of which we only had 10 men to a 0-0 draw and both teams had a fairly even number of chances. You only won on penalties thanks to a great keeper.

I'd understand if you had thrashed us 4-0 or something but winning on penalties isn't anything to get that cocky about.. sorry but you should at least be gracious in victory!

Ronaldo reported a fault, Rooney smashed Ricardo Carvalho's guts, Ronald did what anyone would do, if it happened to your team you would be defending them, stop being so hypocrital, Ronaldo did nothing wrong, why do you call it cheating? The referee saw the fault, he decided to give Rooney a red card, why Ronaldo cheated? For god sake :sleep:
