Got mine on 28 October 2002. Did have one back in 2001 but it was too long. Probably been using e-mail since I was about 9 or 10 because I remember being joined to a Yahoo! account and CITV.

Damn thats a while ago. I would still have an email in there from around 2000 or 2001 if Hotmail didn't "close" my account, idiots, as I can still log into msnm fine, and use the other various things which comes with the login.

It's ironic that most of us signed up to Hotmail before it was MSN Hotmail, and in return we had to endure second-rate service to what we signed up for (signed up for 10MB, got changed to 2MB until only recently). Even though we finally got the storage space we deserve (250MB or more), we still have to endure a bloated interface that will not work with all browsers - even the Hotmail we signed up for (pre-MSN) worked with Netscape, and worked with more browsers than it does today.

Yeah I'd definetly ask for a refund if I was you. Sounds like your not getting your money's worth.

I've never had a hotmail account. Most people don't know you can use any email address to sign up for MSN Messenger.
