Since the day of its announced I was dying to get my hand on this set, and finally orange offered it at a reasonable contract of ?50 for the set and a ?35/month annual contract. What I ordered was a sliver set, the reason being it seems to have more bling in this particular colour then the only other colour offered which is Black.

First Impressions:

The phone does well to impress you on its first sight. It is designed to look elegant and delicate. It seems to be a predecessor 7650 which was as big as a brick in a concrete wall and weight almost a KG (exaggeratio:p:p). As this mobile was delivered to my office I couldn't hold it for an hour as my colleagues were doing the honours of ripping apart the packaging, and putting their own sim card in it to check its functionality and indeed they were really impressed. However the initial remarks were on its thickness and also its weight. It does feel a little inconvenient to keep this set in the pocket of an office dress pants, because as you walk the mobile set will be moving all over the place. I will place this mobile in the class and category of an executivemobile, even though the MP3 player and a 3 MP camera is really next gen joy, but still the make and feel of this mobile is truly business and I would use the inclusion of quick office to support my claim.

Comparison with Other Devices:

Previously I have used N6600, Samsung D500 and E720. Making a comparison with those mobiles firstly I would comment on the MP3 player of n80 as simply being amazing. Though its quality is not as good as to what my PSP or IPod would deliver but still a comparison with D500 and E720 it sounds much better, atleast like a proper mp3 player. There are five band equilization settings with a few presets of Jazz, Rock, Pop etc defined by default and this neat little adapter is also supplied with the mobile with which we can use any other normal headphone with the stereo pin end connector. The mobile plays mp3, wav and acc format files for audio.

Now the Big and bad 3 MP camera, which no other mobile phone currently offers. Its not a hardware stretch, the mobile does actually have a 3MP Cmos sensor.

The picture quality is not really mind blowing, the lens used in the mobiles are still very small and non professional, good enough for an instant snap. The quality is pretty much on par with what is offered by Sony Ericson's 2MP.

A little comparison of size with other devices.

There is loads to discuss about this mobile's functionality, such as its 3D capabilities and this neat new feature where the mobile would speak the name of the person calling in a robotic voice which is actually really cool. It is probably the mobile with most versatile functionality in the market today so definitely was a good purchase.

I've also got an N80. Great screen on them. I wouldn't say im too impressed with the 3MegaPixel camera on it. I was expecting better quality than what it currently is churning out. On the screen they look awsome but when viewed on the PC they look like they have lost colour.

Loving the new Snakes game. Wifi is fun, not had chance to test the home networking out on it, certainly one feature I look forward in doing so. Hard to browse around sites with such a small screen but thats expected. Easily usable though.

Waiting for my 1Gb MiniSD card to arrive before I fill the device with music.

Two problems i've had so far are...

It's crashed on my 3 times (Resets itself when you are making it do something)

When making a phone call sometimes the screen becomes dislodged and appears jumbled.

Anyone know about getting firmware upgrades for Nokia phones? Can I simply walk into my local Vodafone shop and get them to do it?

Stay connected affordably in 120+ countries/regions with your own lifetime eSIM! An eSIM is a digital SIM card. It's basically just mobile data. Once it's activated on your device, it can connect you to data networks in other countries – giving you an internet connection with NO roaming charges. With aloSIM, you can load prepaid eSIM data packages onto your phone, tablet, or computer. Your lifetime eSIM never expires, so it's yours forever and there are never any monthly charges. You'll get $50 in eSIM data credit, which is almost always enough to cover all your data roaming needs for a full year. But if you run out of data, you can always top up your lifetime eSIM and stay connected internationally. Pay $24.97 for a lifetime eSIM with $50 in travel data credit Use your eSIM to join data networks in 120+ countries Install your lifetime eSIM on a compatible device to roam on local data networks Your lifetime eSIM never expires, and can be topped up with more data anytime Many data packages cost as little as $4.50 and last 7 days. Depending on the package you choose, the length of time varies. Good to know Length of access: lifetime For NEW customers only Instant digital redemption Once you add your $50 credit to your aloSim account you have up to 12-months to use it — after that your credit will expire When you pay for a data plan you also get a free phone number (via Hushed) for the same duration of your plan that was purchased - IE 7 day eSim plan gives you a free 7-day phone number Purchased coupon must be redeemed and used within 12 months This deal is not stackable (one offer per aloSIM account) A $4.50 data package will last 7 days The data DOES expire, and you WILL NOT have any leftover data for your next trip unless it takes place within the validity period. While the eSIM never expires, the actual data package is only valid for the length of time stated at purchase (i.e. seven days after activation, 30 days after activation, etc.) So if you buy a seven-day package and only use a tiny bit, that package is still going to expire after seven days. • WordArt was cool. We now have color fonts as a substitute although Word only supports COLRv0 and COLRv1 (Fraud OS 11 only). The OpenType SVG color font format needs to be supported by Office. Adobe's apps support it
