Settings not saving in BF2

Hey guys,

I recently reinstalled BF2 and BF2:SF due to patch problems. Everything seems to be fixed now, except that my settings are not saving! Everytime I log in to BF2, I have to always change my sound card setting to X-FI and to High because it always puts it to software mode. My server filters in the main server browser also do not save along with my controls. I have to change my sensitivity under options every damn time I try to play.

Does anyone know of a fix?

Im gonna have to start quoting myself, gettin sick of typing this :p :

Delete the folder "Battlefield2" in My Documents, thats where the settings get saved too, maybe its not over writing them or updateing them properly....they will get re-created when u launch bf2...
