Looking for a game with a good story

Recommended Posts

Hey,

I really want a game with a story I can really get into. I loved the stories in Halo, Splinter Cell and Oddworld. I played my sister's copy of Kingdom Hearts, and even though it had Disney characters and all that, I liked the style of it. But the whole not-so-actioney RPG feel of it was hard to get used to.

I don't mind if it's out now, or out sometime this year.

Any ideas?

Oh yeah, didn't think of that!

But I would prefer it on 360, so I can have the whole Dashboard/Achievements thing.

Is there a 360 version coming out?

Oh sorry, didn't notice this thread was in the console section.

No 360 version however there is an original XBOX version. I would suggest buying the PC version as its great and the best game with a good story I've played on the PC to date.

Is it? I've always seen a 2006 date. Hm..

That's the thing Giga, I'm not sure. :/

BTW, forgot to mention, but Huxley will be coming out soon (this year). Personally, I cannot to play Huxley when it's released. :woot:

Although not everyone's cup of tea, I personally enjoyed playing through Condemned, and getting all the achievements in the process. Best single player game i've played on the 360. :)

I second that (Y) played it on PC and it was great!

Well IGN and GameSpy both show TBA 2006 but GameSpot shows Q2 2007.

But yeah, no one really knows the release date and Bioware hasn't confirmed anything yet.

I saw a thingy about Mass Effect, looked good.

How's the story in the recent Tony Hawk's games?

    • It's expensive, but I bet it will still sell out just like the Steam Deck and the Steam Controller
    • This is listed as a preview in WU for me. I usually don't grab them as previews; what's your opinion on it so far?
