Dragging an icon in Windows runs a program?

Open Task Manager, go to the Applications tab and drag a file. An application called 'Drag' appears. Just thought it was strange, that's all.

That's freaky... "Drag" must be a hidden window built into the Explorer.exe process that shows itself when a D&D operation is being done, and uses the original content as it's "background"...

Not a new process, but just a window. Look in the applications tab and you will see it appear.

Interesting. Never noticed that before, but I usually don't stare at the task manager when trying to aim my drag-and-drop. ;)

Click on an item in the Start Menu, or pop open a taskbar menu and select an item. 'SysFader' may appear in Task Manager.

Yeah, I noticed this drag.exe before; when my computer crashed last year, I had to end it.
