onyxcorp .. same here .. as u can tell in my post I had to uninstall and remove ALL OD components to get it to work :o( .. hopefully there will be a solution to that soon? ... Once u remove all the components, u can then install the themes no problem whatsoever ...

This theme tho, is by far the best I have seen ever, that includes visualstyles, so it is worth the sacrifice for now ..

Here's how I got it to work:

Unzipped the rar, ran the exe and let in install to the default location, which I found was C:Program FilesObject DesktopWindowBlinds□ (not sure if it was that exact block character but something similar). That folder had 3 .sdtheme's. I renamed gamecube.sdtheme to zip then inside that zip is a Window Blinds folder and in there is the real theme's folder (Game Cube). Place that in your Window Blinds directory and it should show up in your theme list.

for those of you with winstyles installed, or who can download it. Simply unzip the compressed folders located within the rar to your desktop or something, load up winstyles, direct it to your desktop, change *.xptheme to "all files" and the select and install them. easy

oh, and a HUGE thanks to those who downloaded the originals, and hosted the files. Much appreciated

oh, once you install these winstyles you have acces to each of their individual program packets. Meaning you can copy the gamecube folder from the windowblind folder, or iconpacker folder, zip and distribute them more easily without the need to run an installer which screws things up. All you need to do then is unzip it under the program directory of its type and they work :)

kind of hard to explain, let me know if you need clarification

explain please.

i did not have any stardock stuff installed. ran the manager and it worked.

also where are the desktopx stuff??? the extra stuff frogboy talked about

winstyles is a proggie that ties togethor many of the object desktop elements like windowblinds, iconpackager, backgrounds, etc. If you have that installed, then you should have windowblinds and the other proggies installed as well. If not then you need to follow the instructions from peeps above my original posts, or dLoad some different files already to copy to the )windowblinds folder (which should be installed)

here are some better files more ppl hav had luck with I think

Big thanks to Kola for providing the links to the three files. Thanks very much indeed. Gr8 !!

I installed them by first running the .exe file which turned out to be Nintendo Desktop Manager. Then by unzipping the other two, producing .sdtheme files, all I did was double click on them and they were loaded into the Nintendo Desktop Manager and changed my desktop over for me.

Excellent. Looks a bit weird as it changes over but wahey - these styles are absolutely brilliant. Esp. the gamecube one.

I've got Sunshine on at the mo.

Thanks again Kola, you've made my day.

Thnx Thornz0 I have one problem tho, what do u do with the preview.bmp, gamecube.ico, winstyles.ini and gamecubewall.jpg as i have to apply both the windowblinds theme and iconpackager theme seperately it would be much easier if they were all applied at once .
