size in pixels of msn messenger display pic space

there might be some way for me to work this out for myself but i really have no idea.

does anyone know the actually size of the display picture space in msn messenger, actually im running windows live messenger but it doesnt change does it?

will it always be that size or do they change it for different versions. or do they keep it the same cause they have to send it over the messenger network?

its 96x96 i found it out whilst i was searching through the mods of msn 7.5 and came across the display pic size to create an "uncut off display pic" :)
