Another Google Earth update

I don't know if this is old, or perhaps it's gone un-noticed, but Google has really been busy making more updates to Google Earth.

If your city or house wasn't on there before perhaps it's worth checking out, my city is now on high res, and someone I know in London and Scotland (Glasgow) is now also on there.

Also I've noticed that Google Local has been updated with Australian data, right down to details such as property boundaries.

Just type "Newcastle, Australia" into Google earth to jump to my home town :D

Post if your city has been added too.

That's good news I wonder if that's why the link I had made to my house is now broken in google maps you can link to this page mine is broken when I have the time I'll find my place again and see if its more up-to-date that the last one was.

One thing a found a few days ago was the BB house lol

My town has been updated!!!! It's great to see my home but by the look of the showgrounds getting ready for the show, these photos must have been taken in August last year and because there are backburning around my home which is because of the dry season which normally happens between now and Spring.

But still very good enough to show my home and even my car parked near it. Luckly Blackwater is also updated and can see my sister's home.

Yeah, happened a few days/weeks ago, Australia should be entirely covered now, but unless somebody goes and checks that, we won't know. ;)

Edit: Area around our house hasn't been updated for a while, it's still a dirt patch across from my friends house (has had houses sitting on the land for a while)

Google Earth 3.0.0762 Beta is my version, I have had this installed for a very long time, I 2 weekly check for updates (as I just did now), it says no updates available.

What is the new update build?

He is talking about the images.

The images used to create what you see are streamed from a server. Not on your PC.

So NO software updates.

I was hoping they would fix something in it.

Every so often I get a dialog box asking me to enter a key and username.

Even though I use the free version.

Same here the photos of my area is quite old it shows dirt area behind my house where there are houses now ?but better than nothing I guess go Googl(Y)Y)

Maybe my eyes are bad, but the times on the threads make me think that this thread was first. :whistle:

In other news, my house is still out in the middle of a vast, green, blotchy square. I doubt that they'll ever pass over my house. That's what I get for living in the middle of... a vast, green, blotchy square I guess.
