I'm asking this because I'm convinced I'm a loser...never had one :p

I've had quite a few. The first real relationship I had ended up lasting about two and a half years. That girl gave me a lot of self confidence (and fashion advice) and it made things a whole lot easier for me on the dating scene. I guess what I'm trying to say is that self confidence definitely results in a better reaction from the ladies.

thats the main thing girls look for is confidence. be proud of being a dorky nerd! :p

Nope, I'm 20 and not even looking or caring to get into a relationship. Some people are concerned about me, but to hell with them, I have goals that I want to accomplish and I don't want anyone to interfere. Don't start a relationship just because you think you are supposed to have one. I believe that things will work out eventually and I'll be happier because of it.

I am very ****ed off seeing people at young age 14 or 15 even post in this topic... I think this one topic belongs to people age 18 and up...

I've never had a g/f. It started out that I was too shy all throughout my school years. Then, I got caught up in my studies @ college. Now, I'm caught up in my career. LOL After a while, I lost interest and I'm not going nuts about it. lol! I'll live... Oh yeah, I've also had moments where I got to know the mind & lives of women too well and it wasn't attractive to me. I got turned off a bit! HAHA!!! It's also difficult finding a quality woman...

...and so I died alone...

the end. lol

I can relate to what you're saying... In this day in age, I don't think "quality woman" exist... These girls get themselves screwed at the age of 13 or even 12... And you can see it happenning in myspace.com too...

^^Teens 14+ now allowed? come on...most people (MOST) over 18 should (and I use this term loosely) should have had a gf by now. I'm 16 btw.

One, and a couple of rejections. But I suppose I'm only 16, but it's damn frustrating.

tell me about it...ugh

Rejections are much much harder to take than break ups. I shouldn't know 'cause I never had a gf (16) but lsecond time (last time) I was rejected by a girl who I was getting really intimate with, I was devastated...In the end, I had a HUGE fight with her and she tainted my already f'd up reputation in school...thank God this ****'s over.

Yeah, only two, one i was pretty serious about too, damn you for bringing it up :p

Thats actually quite true, one of my ex's gave me quite a lot of confidence, im a lot less shy than i used to be, but still a little :p

Uh, why?

Because people under the age of 18 (many) do not realize their responsibilities... I've seen many tenagers parents... I've seen many suicidal behavior at a younger age... for the lack of maturity and responsibilites thereof, they tend to want to commit suicide when they can't handle their problems... But after that age, they tend to be more mature... when you are at a young age and going on dates and stuff, things tends to get nasty from there.. .your life can go downhill from there...

I've had 3. But belive me, I'm not bragging, the first two treated me like garbage, and I wish I never made the mistake of trusting them with my heart. My current girlfriend is amazing! I wish I met her before.

For all you guys who think you are losers because you've never had a girlfriend, you're not! You simply haven't made the mistakes I have. Hang in there!

2 sigh....just broke up with the second one a few weeks ago (it was pretty serious and all too..gone on for about 2 years :()....damn racists?

...yeah damn racists

I'm not worried about getting another GF or anything, if it comes around, it comes around. If not, the single life is awfully sweet too :)

But just miss her awfully alot when she's not around :(

I'm sorry to hear that mate, It's sad, but you will find new love :)

i hope so, im going to have to see my ex atleast 2 days a week till we both go off to uni (social things and such like)

its just so hard to find a good geek these days, im thinking about setting up camp in my college library

problem with girls these days is that most of them runa round getting with every guy they see, i dunno if i have high standards or anything, but i really hate that stuff

Well most guys are like that too actually (in my experience) but not all guys (and not all girls).

Why do people always have to make such sweeping generalisations in these threads?

I have never had a gf by the way, but I have had lots of bfs. Two were fairly serious and the current one, I'm living with.

    • I have a TV, but it is not used for normal linear TV, only streaming and it is not a Samsung and the best bit is, I don;'t and never have had a Instagram account. The only thing I have to do with Meta is Faceache and I only keep that just for the messaging part.
    • But building your own.. what? You can't build anything like the Steam Machine yourself. Even trying to get close costs a good deal more. Even just the CPU cooler in their price comparison is as big as the entire Steam Machine. If you want a regular gaming PC, then by all means, build that. If you want a a small console-like PC for the living room that is good for gaming, I'm not sure what else is a better deal. In the GN review, they only mentioned a small form factor Dell, which is like twice the size and hundreds of dollars more expensive.
    • Those are some popular multiplayer games. But hardly "all". Just those that don't work on Linux currently due to specific anti-cheat implementations. I think it's also fair to point out the literally thousands of games that don't work on the PS5. And it's not locked at 1080p. That's the default, which you can change.
    • Ubuntu Livepatch arrives on Arm64 to eliminate system reboots for kernel updates by Paul Hill Canonical has just announced that its Livepatch service now supports computers with Arm64 processors. For those who are not familiar, Livepatch allows users to apply important kernel updates without any service interruption or rebooting. While home users will benefit from this, it’s even more important for critical machines that absolutely should not be going offline at all. The feature is available as part of Ubuntu Core 26 for Arm64 and Ubuntu Core 20 and onwards for AMD64. According to Canonical, this will improve the security of systems that aren’t security-maintained daily or weekly, and it helps organizations work towards Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) compliance. If you are familiar with Ubuntu, you probably know that most packages can be updated without having to restart the system. There is one big exception to this, and that’s the kernel; it typically requires you to reload the system to boot into the new kernel. With Livepatch, Canonical has done something so that you don’t need to restart to begin using the new kernel. Aside from Ubuntu Core 26, users with Arm64 chips running Ubuntu 26.04 LTS can also use Livepatch. If you want to learn more about Livepatch, check out its product page. There, you can also find a button to join Ubuntu Pro (it’s free for several home devices) so that you can enable Livepatch. By linking your computer to Ubuntu Pro, you will also extend the life of your Ubuntu install from five years to ten years. If you are running Ubuntu, let us know in the comments if you have been looking forward to this feature on your ARM-based computer. If you’ve had a compatible AMD64 machine for a while and never used this feature, let us know why in the comments!
