having a girlfriend is like having a dog.

you have to walk her.

buy her things

and give her a lot of time in order for her to love you.

that's my new siggy! :)

and yes, at one time. that time is way long ago tho. lol. rite now i'm not doing the gf thing.

its whats best for me... atm.

everyweekend i leave the club or bar with a new "girlfriend"....i love it....and im 21 if that matters....

but like one of my favorite shirt says... Define "Girlfriend"......lol

*the edit made to this post was a spelling error....live instead of leave this of course is fue to pre drinking....anyhow off to meet my next "girlfriend"

No... I guess, ultimately, it's my fault that I don't put myself out there enough, meaning I meet very few people. Still, when I do meet a girl I find attractive, she invariably has a boyfriend already. Happened with the last girl I met, and happened with a very attractive girl I met this evening.

BTW, when I use the word "attractive," I am speaking in everything, from physical appearance to personality and intelligence. I'm not -that- shallow.

I guess it's one of those things that I always figured would just "happen" whenever the time was right, but I'm already 20, gonna be 21 in a month and a half, and still haven't even been on a damn date, much less done anything that would/could result from such an act.

I mean, I've got a good personality, I'm kind, have a good sense of humor, and, IMHO, am not particularly unattractive (physically), so I guess it's just a combination of bad luck and social ineptness.

I went on my first date when I was 16...I had 2 girlfriends before that, but different situations.

I had probably 4 girlfriends after that until I married my first wife when we were both 25...didn't last 3 years.

4 other girlfriends after the first year of divorce...found my soul-mate and married her 2 years after my divorce.

I now have 5 wonderful kids ranging from 21 yrs. old to a 20-month-old....and, my oldest just made me a GRANDFATHER last year!

Your most exciting and wonderful years are ahead of you, youngins!

Spend it Wisely!

Yes and been engaged once (for a number of years.)

Lads, if you're single take it from an old timer (34) - stay away from them, they're all a bunch of evil t*twitches out to get your soul ;)

To the original poster: not having a girlfriend does not make you a loser. You'll get one eventually. Then you'll wish you were single again.. grass is always greener ;)

PS The above comes from a jaded old git, believe the negative stuff at your peril. If you're young and optimistic, ignore what I wrote.

    • It's expensive, but I bet it will still sell out just like the Steam Deck and the Steam Controller
    • This is listed as a preview in WU for me. I usually don't grab them as previews; what's your opinion on it so far?
