3 in total, though the first didnt really count. It was sort of the whole, "I like you." in 8th grade deal.

But single is better. I like to flirt with most of my (attractive) lady friends... not serious, just flirting. They're the same. It's sort of unspoken and just something fun to do.

Having a gf ties you down. they get jealous when u so much as look at another chick.

  • 3 weeks later...

i haven't had a girlfriend in awhile :( but I have had a few girlfriends. I'm not very out-going and have had spirts of social anxiety throughout my life. Everytime I've had a girlfriend it is because they were outgoing and saw something in me and came after me (heaven knows what...). I like a girl who knows what she wants :D.

When I was a practicing christian in high school and some in college girls were so easy to get. Christian girls want nothing more then to be with christian guys which are the minority. I couldn't handle all the guilt issues with christian girls but they were easy to date as long as you were "christian." I don't fancy myself very christian though and I try to avoid churches (it is better for both of us really...i'm like a "wolf" to a church. Just a bad influence :D).

In college it became more difficult for me, and I attribute that to the face that I was studying engineering. There just are not very many girls in engineering classes. There were some cute ones but they always had boyfriends already.

Now about the only women I meet are through friends. I'm about to start hitting on girls just out in public though because I'm not sure what else to do. I don't like to hit on women at clubs and bars.

Yes and been engaged once (for a number of years.)

Lads, if you're single take it from an old timer (34) - stay away from them, they're all a bunch of evil t*twitches out to get your soul ;)

To the original poster: not having a girlfriend does not make you a loser. You'll get one eventually. Then you'll wish you were single again.. grass is always greener ;)

PS The above comes from a jaded old git, believe the negative stuff at your peril. If you're young and optimistic, ignore what I wrote.

I try to be a young optomist...honest. heh :s

But you are right about the grass always being greener... When I was in a relationship of 2 and a half years it was the biggest relief when it was over. Now I wish I hadn't broken up with her causs damn she was hot. oh well...sigh. But I do want to have kids, so I better think of something soon otherwise my kids will be in high school and all their friends will think me and the mrs. are their grandparents.

I am very ****ed off seeing people at young age 14 or 15 even post in this topic... I think this one topic belongs to people age 18 and up...

I can relate to what you're saying... In this day in age, I don't think "quality woman" exist... These girls get themselves screwed at the age of 13 or even 12... And you can see it happenning in myspace.com too...

This is where I stand for the most part.

    • It's expensive, but I bet it will still sell out just like the Steam Deck and the Steam Controller
    • This is listed as a preview in WU for me. I usually don't grab them as previews; what's your opinion on it so far?
