loading modal dialog

Hi

does anyone know / have the script that shows a "loading" model dialog just like the one shown on neowin when you click quick edit?

I have this script which works well, except that when I put an animated gif in the loading dialog, the loading gif doesnt animate, for some reason.... it's just frozen

also is there anyway I can set a min time that the dialog should be displayed for?

FYI I sent an email to the creator and he said this about the problem

This isn't a support form for SubModal. That being said - I'm guessing it has to do with the page firing the onload/onunload event. Can't think of any way to get around that, sorry.

any ideas guys?

I can confirm that this is a IE problem as firefox animates the loading.gif
