I believe rap music no longer delivers a message. And that is why these days it sucks asss.

I loved rap music back in the day. Doggy Style is one of the best rap albums of all time. Not forgetting Biggie and Tupac...Run DMC, Dre. :dj:

Rap music is too mainstream now. All you see in the videos are fake thugs singing about all the money they got, their bentleys etc, etc. btw Dead Prez - Hip Hop sums it up nicely.

Biggie, Tupac, Run DMC.... what about Big L? :p

Yeh it definately is too mainstream, early Eminem was the time when it was good. You have to check out a rapper called Plan B, he's really deep and uses an acoustic guitar for most of his songs.

Have to agree. Eminem was cool when he first started. Will check out Plan B. But these guys that are artistically good, dont really get any airplay. The networks and radio stations cater for the masses, not the guys with taste.

Todays rap is utter rubbish played by plastic gangsters wannabes

I was around during the 80's rap/hip hop era and it was a good time to experience, this stuff today is just dreadful.

Oh and I have never seen so many ugly people in one room as there are in these videos today especially that vid for Nasty Girl I think it was :x :pinch:

I agree to a certain extent. I do not care for any of the current rap music. Some of my favorites include: Eminem, Binary Star, Canibus, Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Tonedeff, and so on.

damn, the mention of Tonedeff brings back memories. I battled against him on homegrownhiphopzone.com years back, and it was a tie, we re-matched two more times and it was always a tie (other members would hear each emcee's battle verse and vote). After that we started battling together against others in text on ICQ, in mplayer rooms setup for it in audio, ect. Man, those were the days. Great guy, very great guy.

    • Password Safe 3.72.0 by Razvan Serea Password Safe is a password database utility. Like many other such products, commercial and otherwise, it stores your passwords in an encrypted file, allowing you to remember only one password (the "safe combination"), instead of all the username/password combinations that you use. Once stored, your user names and passwords are just a few clicks away. Using Password Safe you can organize your passwords using your own customizable references—for example, by user ID, category, web site, or location. You can choose to store all your passwords in a single encrypted master password list (an encrypted password database), or use multiple databases to further organize your passwords (work and home, for example). And with its intuitive interface you will be up and running in minutes. PasswordSafe was originally designed by the renowned security technologist Bruce Schneier and released as a free utility application. Password Safe 3.72.0 changelog: Fixed bugs Improved font scale handling - should resolve font size issues on high resolution displays. • I've got a SoundBlasterX G6 that I use in my streaming setup. Sounds great to me and I've had zero issues with the ancient software package so far in Win11. That G6 has 7.1, Dolby, fully working SPDIF and since it's a USB device it's outside of my rig so I don't have to worry about EMF distortion. Looks like for now this is a pass for me as I think I have better hardware....
